Milkshake under Oil Cap : Other Causes?
Is it possible this is condensate, as opposed to oil - coolant mixing?

Coolant looks good, see attached
Many short drives is exactly my driving habit - if that's the answer, good excuse to get out more for a rip.
I hadn't thought of pressurizing coolant to test - will see if I can get my hands on that equipment.

And of course that engine NEVER shows any water/condensation at all and that V8 takes for ever to get warm !!!
Took the E55 out for a beating today to burn oil off the valve covers from the gasket job. I replaced the cap with a new one, and showing a little condensate but much less. Will monitor but hope this is the explanation.
Still more than I would like to see in the cylinder heds but don't know the miles on your last oil change.

Short trips (engine oil never gets to 200 degrees for half an hour) with low ambient temperatures guarantees a dab of mayo under the cap.
Fresh motor oil and driving it like you mean it is GOOD for it. Get to it.
