Below is a photo of the part number on the original headliner from my W210. "Farbe" translates as "Color". 7E66 is the part number suffix for that color.
This is the Headliner(s) Rear Most Sun View Edge as seen from the Side with my Scope stuck above the HL towards the Rear Corner. This Metal Edge has room to move rearward after releasing the front side first, apparently as WIS is useless! Then the are Clips that, I think, have to be attached first/ released last!

Good stuff but the best starts at post #75 in the thread.
Take lots of photos.
By using the Screwdriver, I simply put the Head flat up against the HL at the Corner of the Sun View Opening looking from above, then once I got a piece the of HL beyond the 1/4” lip of the front Sunview Edge, I placed a small plastic wedge to maintain the gap made and proceeded across to the middle, then whilst keeping the middle wedge in place, moved the Screwdriver to the other corner and Viola, that front edge finally released! Now it will be suspended entirely from its rear edge and, since it was essentially moved rearward 1/4” to clear the front edge, its rear edge needs to be pulled forwards to release that rear edge. However before you do, make sure the seats backs are folded forwards so as to give the HL more room once it drops. The only other thing keeping the HL secured in place after reinserting the Rear Edge, then the front, are those 2 pieces of Velcro R&L (see pics), which I had already released by pulling R&L Rears wings Down after having removed the C-Pillars. Now that I have removed the Front Sunroof Windscreen, I can use my tool to Cut out the Top Section of the Windshield to remove the HL. Then I can finally get to the good stuff (Stereo Speakers, AMPs +DSP, Radio, Floor, Seats, Door Cards etc.).
As wide Pan view I could get of HL inside car!
This is the front edge I had to pry using a screwdriver to release it from its being suspended by the Panoramic Roof Frame.
This is the rear edge “Lip”, which will be pushed further back receding into this “Lip” when prying apart the front. However, this is the amount you have to then pull forward in order to release the HL to cause it to Drop Down.
This is the Rear View Edge where the previous picture shows that Rearward “Lip” of the HL which must first be attached to this cross edge.
These are the 2 Velcro Tabs in the Rear R&L of the Parking Indicator Light which you release first!

When I get all the AlCanterra Off as well as the Foam, I’ll touch up those metal edges to get the old glue off! I surely hope this helps as I was scratching my head for Months trying to figure this out without breaking the HL! Moreover, I might add that the WIS does a very poor job on explaining how to go about it and shows a Blow-up image of a “Clip” that I thought for months had to be released a certain way, but in the end obviously was never there! I spent a couple hours with my BoroScope/iPad Combo to try to find those “Clips”, but obviously never saw them. I thought I might have spotted them, but it turned out to be the Velcro and from the image placement in WIS, it should have been further towards the rear edge, but again, it wasn’t there. It must have been referring to Non-Pano Roofs maybe in the WIS?
