Motor mounts - recommendations? Or OEM?
Motor mounts are shot and need replacing, good bit of rock.

Suggestions or stick with OEM?

Anything else to check out "while in there" kinda deal ... ?

The transmission mount off course

I fitted Meyle with MeyleHD transmission mount last year, but after seeing the disaster on the M539 youtube channel with these mounts (on BMW but nevertheless), I bought Lemforder. I still need to swap them out though. You cant fault OE or buy the non-branded OE, which might be Corteco, but I am not sure.

I bought black series from fcp. I always buy genuine or the oem manufacturer lemforder etc. They are a pain to change, don't want to repeat it more times than necessary.

Three things you can look at:

- Aftermarket (I only know of VRP mounts)

- Black Edition (more sturdier, will last longer)

- Maybach (way smoother, more $$$)

This isn’t personal experience, just things from fcpeuro/LSC and other people
