Winter tyres?
What is the best winter tyres for E55? We have really snowy winters in Totonro and it's my daily driver so I need to pick the best out there, so i wont get stuck, and also do i need change wheels too or not? and what size is recomended?

Just purchased a set of 4 Dunlop Winter Sport M3's and installed them on my stock rims (same size on all four). Luke from TireRack highly recommended these tires for our cars. Just be careful to not floor it or you will light up your rears because of the smaller tire.
Since you live in a climate that snows, I would recommend using your stock rims for winter driving every year and purchase a set of 19" rims for the rest of the year. You will get much better road feel with the lower profile and wider rear tires that you place on those rims.

Had M3s on my W210, absolutely FANTASTIC tire for the winter - and the best part was how well it did in the dry. I was absolutely amazed with them, and will be using them on my W211. I used the staggered (stock sizes) and not same size, and did just fine. I don't know how many days you actually drive through snow, but here there may be 10-20 actual DAYS where I drive through snow and it isn't plowed/salted/etc, so the marginal difference running a narrower tire in the back is really negligible for me - I'd rather keep the extra contact patch for the dry.

Tire Rack suggests Dunlop M3's with same size on all 4 stock wheels. That's what I did. Have had them on for 5 days. Little early to tell because there hasn't been any snow yet, thank goodness. The guys at Tire Rack really are the experts so I'd suggest ringing them up. No matter what you put on they are still snow tires and the car will suffer somewhat in the dry which will be the majority of your driving. I know.....it's a *****.
