Subwoofer question!
Would it be possible to fit stronger woofer in the same place?
I want some more bass but i dont want to put a box in a trunk, Because i have no ski pass and because I dont have folding seats.
Anyone with aftermarket system post your pics too!

Bob, the factory "sub" in the rear deck with the two tiny mid/high range speakers is all one piece. You cant remove the small bass speaker in the center without also removing the whole unit. I had to have the whole unit removed to fit the enclosure as well as to allow the bass free access to the cabin. Now I have a more forward sounding system for the mids and highs, but with so much bass coming from the rear it is hard to notice the difference. The sound is much better now.

Phew! I thought I was the only one that carries cleaning products in my trunk.

go inside your trunk and look up. you'll see a circular metal "thing". beyond that is the subwoofer. my installer cut out my subwoofer so the bass could travel through that small hole into the cabin. it actually works quite well.
you need a good driver that can accept a small volume (mine is .61 cubic feet). pm me if you want box dimensions.

since my C32 did not come with a spare tire, i put my amp, and sub in the spare tire well. the reason i did that was so my mother could never tell i had those goodies in the trunk. i fit a JL 500 amp and a 12 inch sub in there.. also, i have a knob near my knees to control them..
the installer made a box to fit in the spare tire well so it doesn't move, and made a new trunk lining(?) with a speaker cover type material just above the speaker, and covered on top with carpeting.
my mother can't tell, i still have full use of my trunk space, and i have bass.
Very nice set up. I am still in search for the perfect bass. My bass tone still is too boomy at times and lost at others.
