Talking I have one on order

Hello there,
I have a blue 2006 E55 wagon on order. My husband likes to call it the beast wagon and the only thing that bothers him is that I'll be able to blow away his SLK55 with my wagon once it gets here. We are expecting a 12/05 delivery but that is by our choice as we want a 2006. We are currently 3rd in line for a build date.

Yes. Production was to start in late December 2004 for U.S. spec vehicles. I have a call into my dealer to figure out the status of mine.

The MBUSA letter I have claims this is a limited production special order vehicle. I am sure your dealer can give you details if you are interested.

We're going to the auto show

Hello again,
We are planning to go to the show Saturday to get an actual look at the car. I'll try to get a few photo's to post though it's usually not all that easy at a car show. At least this time we don't have to go all the way to NYC like we did for the SLK55 debut :-)

Hello again,
Is it placed where you can actually get near it or on a stand like the SLK was in NYC? Also, I have to correct one thing about our trip to NYC. I was going anyway to introduce our son to Broadway theatre. Hubby chose to come along for a quick weekend when he found out the car was going to be at the auto show. I loved going to see it ( not as much as seeing it in the garage mind you) but would have visited NYC no matter what.

Wagons are the ****!~! especially to those who don't know the E55. (I run into alot of people who just think I just badged my car up to make it look cool) Then I show them what a mistake that was. But to be able to do that in a wagon. DROOL...

So the E55 AMG Estate will be more rare than either an SLR or a Maybach in the USA?

Will a badge-delete option be available?

Hello there,
My husband has mentioned debadging and I just don't get it. The same way I don't understand a person putting an AMG badge on a car that isn't why would you take one off one that is?

A SL55 delivered 8/18/07, and an E55 wagon delivered 5/11/05
You debadge your AMG because you dont want people to know its an AMG, You put a fake AMG badge on a non AMG car so people THINK you have an AMG car. I think most people who post here know the difference regardless of what badges are on the car. Wolf "Badges? We dont need no stinkin badges"

I wouldn't be suprised if people here key an E55 AMG wagon because they think it is a fake. Debadging it would help prevent that.

BenzoBoi, do you have pictures of your E55 AMG wagon?
