i love to mod, my c2 has sport classic wheels (factory) and they are fake 2 piece and cost 5g to replace. so im all for reps for wheels so i can spend real $ on hp! thats just me, many disagree.

I'd stick with the ASA 19" from tirerack or movens (brabus or lorinser reps) for replica wheels...those seem a little too cheap to be good quality...just IMO

Nice wheels, but I don't think they're genuine without the AMG insignia stamped on one of the spokes.

I can't believe people would put replicas on a $80,000+ car. Oh well...

Fast Cars!
There are better replicas then that. Even the ASA's u will need spacers for. I have sold a few sets of TSW bremmas to people on the forum, a replica thats simimar to that wheel only better quality and you do not need spacers for.

I'm pretty sure the ASA wheels from tirerack will fit. And i am sure the ASA wheels are probably better quality than the ones on ebay. might just be 300 more. I have a good friend in Boston with a set of those AMG reps on his 03 e55 in 19's, and he purchased it from tirerack. He said he did not need spacers. And when i saw it it looked realy nice on his black e55. its just when you look closely you will not see the AMG indented emblem on the wheel and you can tell it is one piece. there is no space between the outer rim and the bolts. It's really your choice. It's what you like and how well you will be satisfied with what you have. everyone here is entitled to their opinion, but as long as you like it then go for it.

1. They are round.
2. You like them (I do too)
3. Nothing like a good deal

Snag them before someone who says they don't care for them buys them underneath you.

I have this EXACT set still in the box. They are Italian made from a company called Moven. When I looked at the seller, I wanted to write you

DO NOT BUY FROM HIGHLINE WHEELS

They "stuck" me with these wheels after they promised me the rears were 9.5" wide and when I got them they were only 9" wide. I called to tell them to take them back-they said "NO" - They are Special Order.

My time and effort was not worth the $1000 I paid for them and now I simply want to sell them and cut my losses. I'm really picky with Tire/Wheel set-ups which is why I was Pis....!! They flat out LIED and then I was stuck

DO NOT BUY FROM HIGHLINE WHEELS

BTW- Anyone want to buy a set of rims still in the box??

I learned a lesson about buying cheap wheels with my lexus. I had a set of zenettis and one day im cleaning my car and i see a nice crack going through the one spoke. Do you think i ever was able to get in touch with anyone at zenetti? Its not even worth fixing them, so everytime you hit a pot hole, youll have to go find another one. You get what you pay for dude.

I would follow the suggestion above about buying the ASAs which are also replicas however will be more trustworthy qualitywise. I, on the other hand, will be going a difft route on my beast.

sounds exactly my brother's car...the cargraphic kit looks very similar to the gt3 except the rear spoiler is CF...anyway, I wish I could afford it, but I can't. Thanks for the offer. Is this the car you were going to install the SuperCharger?

Thats ultimately my concern as well. I dont recall anything that would cause the hairline crack on that one wheel. And had I not looked, who knows what would have happened. Safety should be the top concern, and this is a result of the quality of the construction of the wheel. Maybe you hit a bump and you dont realize it caused a problem, but then you find out when you lose control on the highway while you are pushing your beast against the occasional m5. At that point it's too late. Anyway, you get the idea...it is still ultimately your choice.
