According to the wheel's measurements, 275 should have been on the rear tyres stock. However they don't have the correct load rating (check your placard) recommended by mercedes.
275s dont necessarily have to be on 19 inch wheels. 275 is the width of the tyre, and wheels can be as wide as one makes them.
Don't worry about the load ratings though. They are an overkill. 720kg on each wheel i think.

Depending on whether you have stock, which are (265), I don't think the 275 will be compatible. Please correct if I'm wrong.
Besides, the wheels ARE wider for the rear... I hope you know.

Couple of things. All PS2's are Y rated. 275's fit fine. The load rating is a little lower on the 275's compared to the 265's There is not an obvious difference between the two tires in straight line traction. The car already pushes bad. It would only get worse. Why would MB use the wider rear when there is no real upside. The 265 would offer less roling resistance and be less likely to hydroplane. I have the 275's on the rear of my car but I have 265's on the front. Putting the 265's up front made a big difference.

Was thinking the same thing and wondering,
Did you mount 265/35s on the stock 18x8 wheels up front ?
Or did you get a pair of wider wheels for the front and if so
what wider size and offset will still clear the front fenders ?
Thanks,

I have custom HRE's. They will definitely not fit using the stock front's. Here is a thread with more detail.
