Im currently trying to get out of my 2010 E550 lease, dealer explained i would have to eat the remaining payments or put the car on swapalease. For now it looks like im keeping it but i found this car on Ebay and I have been hearing that there are some ridiculous specials on 2010 E63s.. This car (below) is brand new and going for 70 grand?!? If this is actually the case, I may have to end up looking for a taker to my lease and jump on these deals.

If you didn't like the interior bits and pieces of your W212 E550, I'm not sure you be any happier in the 2010 E63. Deals happen like this on MBs about this time of year. And now the 2011 will have a return of those nice bits and pieces like alcantara headliner once again and also a stitched dash and piano black console.
And then later next year the discounts will happen again. And if you like the NA motor over FI, you'll be getting some really huge discounts when the 5.5 is ready (2012 MY.)
So, if you can wait just another year.......

New here, long time BMW forum member,
I got today a similar car for $72,xxx, almost $22 off sticker...
At the same sentence I have to admit I don't like this car so much, but the deal was irresistible... practically free, will drive it for a year or so and get the new M5 once it's out.
I will be getting the car in 3 days, who knows, maybe it'll grow on me...

I heard the car isn't selling well and also they were over allocated. Is this true? Does anyone know for certain? These prices below MSRP are similar to the W211s discounted last year.
A 2010 W212 E63 will be super cheap on the used market now. Of course AMGs depreciate like a sinking rock anyway. But this is kinda unheard of for a new model release. When the W211 E63 was released in 2007 the retail price stayed up there until the middle of 2009 when the W212 was announced. I wonder if the E63s with 5.5TTs will get gobbled up when they arrive. I think MB may have miscalculated this time around.
Kind of unfortunate for people who bought new ones right around the initial release date.

This is really crazy because Im seeing 09 W211 E63s with very low miles going for close to 70k.. Now you can pick up a practically brand new W212
E63 for just over 70k.. I think youre right about waiting another year!

fwiw, that was through a dealer friend of his that got him the MB corporate price (employee lease deal) A one time thing.
Still, prices are way down there now.

This is true--- and there are absolutely deals to be had. From what I have heard in the region where I live there was indeed over allocation and the dealers were stuck with high dollar, low moving units swallowing up their flooring lines. So the MBUSA threw out 15k in dealer cash. Im not sure if it was factory to dealer or factory to customer but the dealers are sharing it or most of it with their buyers.
I ended up getting about 33k off sticker on a very nicely equiped car. I will take delivery Monday. Ill do a short term lease and in 2 years I can walk away even if the car depreciates past the residual. Just a quick 2 year car where Ill lower it, put wheels on, do the exhaust, and some other mods. Wasting money is fun!!
