Do any of you know when these are to show up? IE, confirmation from a dealer or from MB USA? There has been very little talk about the new E63 w/the TT engine in the press and auto rags. I'm assuming it will be the '12 MY?

Should come out around that time. But I heard the new exhaust systems on the new S63 and CL63 with the 5.5 AMG's. Doesn't have the same roar as the 6.3L V8's. More mechanical sounds not the raw N.A. V8

Yeah I LOVE the N/A V8 exhaust tone. It's not the same when supercharged or TT, but the HP & TQ will make up for some of it

The biggest reason i would like the TT is that in my country car tax is based on CO2 emissions. The lower they are the better. I counted that the E63 with TT is 23k € cheaper then the present E63 NA

I was hoping there was more talk. This is the first car i have got excited about in a long, long time. Hopefully there will be a lot of aftermarket suport and potential for 900hp or better. I was hoping they would call it a E55.

I've heard the first cars will come through mid year - and that's to Australia, so other places should be earlier. They are very close now.

Here in the U.S., the official sales date for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is July 18, 2011. Saw this info right off my dealer's confidential MY 2012 data sheet.

Production starts June 1 . . . so those boats better be fast!
