51 PSI???
I have a 2012 E63 with the optional 19” 5-spoke wheels, and the factory-supplied Pirelli PZero tires. I noticed that the recommended tire pressure for both front and rear tires on the sticker inside the driver’s door jamb is 51 psi!
I don’t remember seeing such a high number before on my previous tires. Is 51 psi a typical pressure on these low profile tires?
Its interesting to me that the writing on my PZero tires themselves that states their 51 psi maximum pressure is sooooo small its literally almost unreadable. I had to use a flashlight and really look hard to see what it said.

MB has different tire pressures depending on the load. What does it say on the fuel filler door? I know for my '10 it is 35/39 on the B-pillar--that actually is assuming max load on the car.

51 psi is full load (4-5 passengers luggage and speeds over 155mph which wont happen)... Id run 36 to 38 psi cold all the way around.

With 51 psi, you sure are gonna pick up all the nails on the road. I still can't figure out how high pressure increases the odds of getting flats from nails.

It has detailed pressure for various scenarios, and yes for normal driving the required pressure is about 36 psi.
