My New E63 Wagon

Thought I'd share some first pics of my new wagon.
Looks funny without the wheels (getting painted).

Congrats one of our first wagons and with the PP... I assume you are painting the stock wheels black?

Sick Wagon!

Very nice!
Hope we see more pics.
Please get some shots of the engine, that roomy wagon cargo compartment and the window sticker.
Since it's on a lift, get us some undercairrage shots too.
Perhaps those turbos are visible from underneath?
Then we can all drool with envy.

The bottom of your car will only look this good once.
Now is the time for pics.

Ok for wagon experts- i was building one online to compare to an actual allocation I was afforded and the allocation at a dealer has this option but I cant find it online:

AMG Exterior Carbon Package (Special Order) msrp 3125.00

What does this entail?? Its for a 2012 E63 Wagon.

It's not on the website when you build your own car, I think its an orderable option only thru dealers? In any case, there's a carbon lip in the front bottom and in the back under the diffuser. Can't find one right now but there's pics of it out there.

Its freaking 3k but I think it might be worth it... this wagon is white with the PP, every stupid safety device, and the carbon package but no ceramics which is fine.

I wonder how fast/slow the wagons are compared to the sedans and the CLS?

Yea CF 3k, plus PP 6550, plus LSD is another 2k. You'll be grateful to not pay for carbon brakes at that point. The CF is nice IMO. Just don't scrape it. Although I guess the car isn't really that low.

Don't know how fast CLS is but E wagon is just slightly slower than sedan. I think I read somewhere its just .1 second or something pretty minimal. But not if you fill up the cargo space...

You thinking Diamond or Artic?

The one coming in is Arctic- more of a pure white... Id lower it though with the KW coilover system and slap some new concave HRE's on it. I know one thing and it sounds petty but I wish the w212TT's had the LED lighting that I have on the CLS.

An AMG wagon with wheels is quite a site.

This baby has been sitting at my dealership for a couple of weeks now....

The wagons are just as quick as the sedans. At the AMG performance event we dragged them side by side and it was a dead heat. It was weird but the wagon felt way more planted than the sedan and even the CLS63

That extra bit of weight over the rear tires really improves the handling dynamics of it....you have to drive it for yourself to understand

i know it sounds messed up and contradictory to everything you would assume, but that Wagon handles amazing.

You really should drive it. We drove it back to back against a Wagon / E63 Sedan and CLS63 all with the 5.5 TT and the PP Wagon felt the most solid through the corners hands down

You gotta drive it!

Wagon - 193.4 / 4,913 (inches/MM
Sedan - 191.7/4,868 (inches/MM)

i think the 1.5 inch difference is because the wagon bumper just sticks out a little because of the step out
