How much should I get a E63 wagon right now?

How much should I get a E63 wagon right now?
There are more than 7 E63 wagons available in So Cal. My friend told me that it is a good time to get a 2012 model right now. One of them comes with LSD and PP with a MSRP of $109,000. Lowest MSRP on a E63 wagon is $91,000 but without LSD and PP. How much under MSRP can I get it and which one to get? Your help is appreciated.

its a very rare car, if you want one i recommend grabbing it. LSD is a must, PP could go either way, depends on how you drive and if you feel you need it. i dont think anyone can comment on pricing as none of us know what options it has.

The wagon is a rare care but also has rare demand and is not to be considered rare and in demand like a C63 Black Series... Once a wagon comes off the lot it loses a lot of value.
There is about 12 percent built into the sticker via invoice and hold back- then there is possible factory to dealer cash and other incentives (like loyalty, conquest, etc) that drive a used one down in value. Further, a used one can not be leased and most of these cars are lease thru MBFS. Trust me I know since I got my wagon for 12% off sticker (called triple net) and still had a some work to do to get a buyer at my price.
Id shoot for a minimum of 10% off sticker if not the full 12%.

The E63 wagon is definitely rare. It's not rare in SoCal simply because it's SoCal, which was the car capital of the world and bought something like half of the world's new car every year. However, that's not the case any more.
12% off MSRP...that's a good number to remember for future car purchase.
As for LSD, IMO the aftermarket Quaife LSD is better.

there are a handful in the Bay Area too, but not like LA - there is a local dealer down the street that has had one for months now - they are itching to move it - i told them i want a lease return for purchase as AMG's drop in price like rocks - LOL - good luck -
I would assume dealers will want to move out the 12 wagons too when the 13's come out - with full iphone (siri) integration and mild body changes to headlights and such?

Ill say this about the wagon- its a niche buyer more than most especially stateside. Europe loves wagons aka estates while we are full of Mommy Trucks (mini vans) and SUVS.

10-12% off msrp i would be a happy buyer for a new 63 amg, sedan or wagon. It's just unfortunate like Vic said, they will tank in value as soon as you take delivery, which is a plus for leasing. Gotta pay to play.

I just found out last night that there is no third row seat for 2012 or 2013. This sucks big time. I am not getting one anymore. I hope they can re-make R63 in 2013.

In the description, "3rd row seat." Even the sales person told me there is third row seat. I have to check it out myself or maybe it is an aftermarket 3rd row seat.

If you really need the third row seat look towards a van. It seems that the third row seats in the wagons are pretty much useless and your probably missing the point on the whole Amg packages if your priority is the third row seat, and the lack of it is the deal breaker.

Yeah, it's indeed too bad there is no third row seat. I would rather MB put in a very slim and smaller 3rd row seat with seat belts than to have none at all.
