Wheel offset of w212 e63 and w218 cls63

I recently purchased a set of HRE P44sc 19" that originally fits on w218 cls63, thinking that it would fit on my w212 e63. The front is perfect but rear sticks out half an inch out of the fender, rubbing like hell when I go through rough road. Based on the info I got from this forum, Both cars can accomodate similar wheel offset, but it was wrong. My car is on stock suspension and not lowered.
Can anyone comment on maximum wheel spec possible on both cars without rolling the fender? In my case, rear sticks out so bad that it won't be solved with alignment/fender rolling anyway.

Depending on the width it seems like 35-40mm would be the max on the rear from what I have been reading.

Posted this in W218 and then saw this thread. My thoughts:

I think your problem comes from the difference between the wheel specs on the CLS63 compared to the E63.

I know the 19" forged wheels look identical on the 2012 CLS63 and E63 but I believe the rear wheel size and offset are different. The E63 rear wheel is 19x9.5 (offset 52) while the new CLS63 rear wheels is 19x10 (offset 47).

Thanks. I saw your post on W218 CLS63AMG forum as well.
Since this issue is for both cars, I thought I'd hear from CLS guys as well.

I didn't know those 19" forged wheels have different specs, since they look virtually identical.
Based on the spec above, CLS can accommodate at least 1cm (et10) or half an inch bigger than E. I guess I have to pay for my own wrong judgement, damnit...

I took my CLS 63 2012 19s off and put them on my 2010 E63 with absolutely no issues.

Most of the wheels for CLS should fit E with no problems, but in my case the wheels are at the maximum spec that CLS can accommodate and clearly bigger than what E can do.

offsets

I have a set of custom mono block forged wheels on my w212

20x9-29mm
20x10-39mm and the rears sit a bit past the fender but dont rub. The tire size and brand will make a huge difference also. I would not go any lower than a 39mm on a 10 inch wheels.

I am running 295/25/20 Hankook

Do you wanna go with 19's or 20's for them?

Huh? I don't understand what you're saying. I already bought HRE's and rears are out of E63's spec, sticking out of rear fender for about an inch. (I already mentioned it on my original post.)

So what offset are the 19" staggered forged cross spoke wheels for the CLS 63 AMG?

Will they fit a 2014-2016 E 63 AMG?

Thanks!

Bump. I am hearing 37 mm front, 52 mm rear for these wheels? Is that about correct, and will that work on an E63?
