Planning to drive / use the wagon for a bit and when ready I will likely reach out to one of you to purchase parts unless a list / invoice is readily available and shared. Thanks in advance.
Charlotte NC here. Did you ever get this done? Want to add this to our 2016. Wondering if you found a refional shop that did a good job with this.

Has anyone tried sourcing the parts for this from a wrecked non-AMG W212 wagon?

I haz all the dad cars - R63 AMG, 2022 GLB 250, and a 2018 E63 Wagon.
Reviving this thread and repeating @dinnyin; has anyone tried with parts from an auto recycler? I’m looking at a 2013 E63 wagon and my wife is shooting it down for lack of third row seats. I’m hoping I can sway her with the retrofit but $5k isn’t going to fly with her.

doesn't really help you, but here's how things went for me...

I never located the parts, but I did talk to the guys that did the conversion for pali63wagon (after briefly discussing buying his car, but his heart wasn't in the sale, I don't blame him). They were a bit hard to get ahold of, but then it became clear why: they wouldn't do it again, not for $5k or any reasonable amount of money, it was so difficult.

At that point I gave up on the 212, eventually tracked down and bought one of the 2-dozenish 09s with the 3rd row, updated the head bolts and bob's your uncle.

They wouldn’t do it again 😂😂😂👌🏻

I was such a pain in the a&$. i wanted it perfect/like factory and to retain the brace bar for the spare. After all I’m putting my pride and joy back there.
Although we just modified that area to fit the wiestec water/meth tank where the spare was.
After the pure turbos and tune by John on the dyno with a conservative “dad” and “save trans” tune it made 640 to the wheel and 770 wheel torque.
Not sure i wanna put the kids back there at this point lol lol

Hummer Limousine
I think this van is designed on the structure of Hummer Limo. Because from the backside it seems like a limo and once I Look around, this van is super. Although they might be used instead of Airport Limousine Services

Contact me please!

Hi could you contact me via email? I am planning on doing this to my 2013 E63 wagon as well. I have a bunch of questions and was actually hoping I could put my mechanic in contact with your shop as well.

Lol no nobody ever got back to me

I found an ebay page that had all the parts individually but it's so much more expensive like that. I wanna find the parts out of a salvage car if possible, but 2012-2014 wagons are rare, AMG or not lol

Per that ebay listing, the range of compatible wagons should be '11-'16 wagons. And I "believe" literally every single '11-'16 non-amg came w/ 3rd row rear-facing seats that's interchangeable, model wise. A quick search on car-parts yields about 10 junked 11-'16 3rd row seats in both tan and gray available..

And lol to this thread. It's a buncha car-dads desperately adding seats for the growing clan, trying to convince their wives/babymamma to NOT get that amazing Chrysler Pacific Hybrid (just like I did when I posted back in '16: https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...ml#post6777981). Me? I gave up and got a stupid Volvo cause I needed an actual third row.

I assembled all the parts needed and ready to tackle the install. My car came with the upgraded B&O sound system and I have an amplifier strapped under the compartment cover.
question for the ones that did this before, how did you relocate the big ampli?
thanks

I have completed my retrofit, I have installed the third row on my 2014 AMG, canadian car, with B&O soundsystem (subwoofer and amplifier in the trunk), retained the spare wheel and the floor rails.
if I see interest I will create a guide with pictures and parts.
let me know.

question for the ones that have a working rear roll cover, what is the part nr? The one I have installed is too thick to work with the new seats.

What extra parts do you have>? I was just able to source the seat back, bottom, and headrests all together from a salvage but I still need to get a bunch of other little pieces like seatbelt ****

you are almost there then. I have left all the parts not circled. Seat belts have a common part Nr to other mb models.

I am jealous. I have the seats and hinges etc. but have not been able to find a schematic that shows the parts needed for mating the seats to the car nor the seatbelts and plastic parts for attaching them. Do you have any schematics or links to them?
