From what I recall, S comes with higher power 577hp/590tq, carbon fiber in the engine compartment, red calipers, alcantara wheel and suspension adjustments (not sure what this exactly entails).
The S package will have the diff as standard as well.
I also recall a statement about a different flat bottom steering wheel but I doubt this to be true.
I have not seen pricing yet.

Nope, not for 2014.
Nope.
The S Model's features are outlined in the press release:
http://www.zercustoms.com/pdf/2014-M...ations-USA.pdf
The S features are pretty straightforward to piece together, but the price is anyone's guess. IIRC, C&D estimated $15k but based on Europe pricing, I'm expecting more like $11k-$12k.
And the big question is what will be standard feature on all models? E.g. it looks like the 360 camera is a $1000 option in the UK, while Parktronic is standard. Who knows what they'll do here though.

If all you get is more hp, a slightly different steering wheel, contrasted stitching on black interior only, and a limited slip, I will pass on the S version if it comes at 12K or more.
$8K was already steep but at least you got a few more goodies like red calipers and carbon fiber engine cover.
One would be better off buying the LSD as a separate if you want to stay OEM and then get it tuned.
There is still a bit of mystery on whether the suspension has been fine tuned. If so, what is MB doing??

If you add up the main S features (LSD, performance pkg, and illuminated sills) you get like $9,500. IMHO that other cosmetic junk isn't really worth anything, but we'll see what they want for it. Paying several thousand just for embossed headrests, some ugly chrome, contrast stitching, red calipers, and an S badge would be kind of insulting.

Nope, just Eric being an a$$ expecting everyone to read the whole internet before asking a dedicated e63 forum
Pricing hasn't been released yet. Figure a healthy amount more than the last model! The S will be the fastest 4 door you can buy, and MB won't be giving it away.

I forgot about the sills but I think it is a less than 1K option.
The performance package was $4K for my C63 in 09 and it included the Suede steering wheel; arguably better Composite brakes; Rear differential lock; and track Calibrated Suspension System.
The PP package at $7K on the E/CLS is already priced way too high for what you get.
Add the LSD and sills, deduct the CF and you are around $9K. A package should be cheaper than the sums of the options so it should be priced at like $8K. I know it is wishful thinking and MB will play a trick on us and price it high.
Add the 4WD system for about 3K and it adds up to about $11K. Ouch...

Hey, don't forget about the AMG-embossed headrests, the chrome on the side-skirts and rear bumper, the illuminated door sills, and the red brake calipers. Surely that's worth several thousand dollars, no?

The reason I don't think they'll get too crazy on the S pricing is because of the Germany pricing listed here:
http://www.emercedesbenz.com/autos/m...-need-to-know/
If that's correct, there's a 10.6% kicker for the S, so if the base 4Matic is $95k, then the S would be around $10k higher. That seems reasonable enough, but my gut says it's a little optimistic. We'll see.

"S" will come with LSD..."S" is like the new performance pack
Optional "S-Model" variant including power increase and limited-slip differential, plus exclusive 10-spoke wheels and design elements
For those seeking an even higher degree of exhilaration and exclusivity, AMG has developed an all-new "S-Model" variant in Sedan and Wagon form. In the performance department, an elevated power curve with additional horsepower, a boost in top speed and a zero-to-sixty time unmatched by virtually any other car on the road are accompanied by a limited-slip rear differential for more grip during acceleration. On the style front,
S-Model vehicles receive distinctive exterior design features like front apron trim in high-gloss black, 10-spoke AMG Matte Titanium Grey wheels, red brake calipers and "S" trunk badging. Inside, details including AMG-embossed front head restraints, contrast stitching and Alcantara® wrapped steering-wheel grips put S-Model vehicles in a handcrafted league all their own.
