Ordered has been placed!! 2014 E63 AMG "S"
After many years of sacrafice I'm done saving $$$$. I ordered my car today......Plain old White over black E63 "S" with a Pano roof being the only option. Can't beat the look of a black roof on a white car. Super excited to get the car, it should be one of the first E63S's produced (Decade 061). Hoping that the $99,700 floating around the web is the accurate base price plus $1090 for pano and $925 for the destination. I really want the B&O stereo but I'm not sure if it's worth $6500. I'm leasing the car so it came out to a $100 a month plus difference in the payment. I just couldn't see paying $100 extra a month for a stereo. Has anyone ever heard the B&O stereo in a Mercedes?
Couldn't find keyless go listed as Standard in the P one package or as a standalone option. Not sure how the car will come?

Congrats! Sounds exciting.
Indeed, they removed Keyless Go from the Premium 1 package according to the E63 dealer order guide, and created a Keyless Go package that isn't available until June for whatever reason. But the guide says you can order it standalone till then, so who knows what's up.
You also lose the active curve illuminating headlights that used to be in the P01 pkg.

congrats on your order... I can't wait for my dealer to call me so I can place my order! I guess in canada we might get a chance to order a bit later.
same dilemma about B&O. I heard it in a S class at the dealer and it's amazing compared to HK Logic7 in my C63... then again it can be just the fact that it was an S class and the "sound" could be better reproduced. They didn't have an S class with HK to compare apples with apples.
other dilemma is CCB option... I tend to track a couple of times a year with C63... never had any real problems but the E is much heavier. I find it steep at 13000$ though!

Ive heard B & O stereo in a home and in the new 2013 BMW 650 M package? Correct me if I'm wrong. The sound is impeccable, Rich sound and deep bass. Plus the center channel speaker pops up out of the dash. Very cool.

We've been on the Dave Ramsey plan so I've been holding back for a while and we are FINALLY DONE!!!!! I'm beyond excited to get back in a fun car again.
I'm so tossed up about the B&O stereo. I really want it but just can't decide if it's worth it. The tweeters lit up sure do look cool. $6500 is a ton of money for a stereo and IMHO it doesn't sound that awesome in BMW's and Audi's. Maybe the MB on is better engineered because it's $6500 versus @$3000-4000 in the BMW and Audi's.
I'm going to add Sun shades because it's such an inexpensive option. I think my order is changeable for a few more weeks so I have time to decide about the Stereo.

I'm told that the car will be made in June but sit at the port and will not be released until August. It will be a fun process, I've never ordered a car before it came out.

I always considered myself a patient person until this process. I hate waiting! With the way the weather has been here I'll probably have to take delivery on winter tires.
Here's hoping MB is using all this time to put a tonne of mules out there and all the problems will be nicely ironed out!

Is there any negotiating on E63's when special ordered? I had the impression they always sell for list price if you order one.

I'm estimating $103,000-$104,000 lightly optioned. Base price is supposedly $99,700.
