Learned my car is sitting in the vehicle processing facility in Maryland since July 13th. Waiting for Mercedes to officially launch the car and I will have it the next day.

 

It would be hard knowing my car was built just waiting for the MB release date. At least You know it's going to be one of the first ones on the road. Keep us informed of the official release date.

 

That's great news, you must be excited.

I have to admit it leaves me feeling a little sorry for myself though. I have been #1 with my dealer ever since news of this car broke (was the only one on the list for 5 months) and I don't have a delivery date until mid October.

 

ordered my S Model in april i believe, i have confirmation it should be here sept 1. eagerly anticipating it!

i wanted the carbon exterior package but the wait was so long for it and they had no idea on the price, i figured it was something that could be done aftermarket at some point. I was thinking about carbon on the inside as well but i figured that could be done later at some point too.

Cant wait to see pictures of other owners E63's

My order was placed in April but I don't think I am scheduled to receive my car until September. The car will be built around the 20th of August. I can't wait for some of you to post some pics of your cars once you receive them. Anyone know how long after is is produced until it hits a dealer in north Florida?

It would be great to meet some of you at the Amg driving school since we get a free pass.

Buy or lease a new AMG and they give you a free pass to driving school. A $1750 value.

The residual numbers are out. 58% for 36 months with 12k miles per year. 3% bump for 10k miles per year and 4% bump for a 7500 mile lease. I only ordered a pano roof so my sticker price was just a tad over $101,000.

Where did you get your numbers? Any more info? Prices for options that were TBD in the order guide?

I got the lease numbers from the August program guide that is given to all the MB dealers. Sadly I didn't see any pricing on some of the options that are still TBD.

Mf is .00210 or 5.04%. I am going to do auto pay which will lower the mf and reduce it a little bit saveing me @$15.

 

Just talked with dealer. Launch will be this week. Won't know option prices until they get the car at the dealer. She also confirmed they have lease terms but I didn't get into specifics. I am traveling so won't be able to pickup until Friday. Will post pricing and pics then.

Thanks for the info!, if this numbers are solid then MB money factor is higher than BMW, but well.... quick question caplist? what do you mean by auto pay to get a better rate?

 

If Mercedes deducts the Money straight out of your account rather than you mailing a check the money factor goes down a little bit.

 

hey guys! Long time troller of this thread but first post. I too ordered on 4/15 and have a car sitting at the VPC since 7/19. The MSRP estimates given are correct, I have an "inside" at my dealer who updates me on everything, however he doesnt know when it will be released from the VPC. Its killing me!!!! I just read above someone was told 8/6 which is today. Does anyone else have any insight?

BTW, I ordered a 799 Diamond White over 821 Black S Model with Pano, Lane Assist, AMG Forged Wheels (the traditional AMG wheels) and a few other goodies, and MSRP came to $105,245. I originally ordered with Keyless Go and Electric. trunk but as someone mentioned they became standard features.

 

UPDATE!! Cars are released to carrier from VPC, so should arrive tomorrow. 8/6 was correct!

 

We really want to see LOTS and LOTS of pictures as soon as you get it!
