Lucky you! I waited for a call yesterday (I knew PO's were getting assigned on June 4th) but no luck. Seems I will be up next month (end september build for november delivery...) as I'm second in line for the POs. What model and color did you order? Weird that you can order a car without price info! They have to know what they will ask for the car!! It's already sold elsewhere!!

I'm going diamond white S model sedan, black interior. premium pack, Carbon in, carbon out, B&O. Gunmetal rims.

I'm trying to order a second set of wheels for delivery as it is such a late delivery and I'll want a set of winter wheels. I doubt tirerack or anyone else will have wheel specs for the car at that point.

Will probably go diamond white S wagon with CCB/B&O/all the goodies... I'm thinking of putting the winter tires on stock rims... I lost so much last time by buying a set of AMG wheels for winter set. Only thing is I wont be able to go "minus 1" with skinnier tires!

Pricing for the base car and main options is known, as you may have seen.
Order fast! You can still probably get a July build date. A dealer emailed me last week that he still has a July wagon slot available.

I'm supposedly #1 on the list at my dealer, first build slot was late august. Pricing isn't set yet. if you know please provide a link to the MSRP + options.

When I said July slots are available, I was only referring to wagons. Sedans are later.

Just realized you're both Canucks, so I'm not sure about pricing for you. U.S. pricing was released. benzblogger posted it months ago, and it's in the dealer order guide that's been posted.

Guys i Ordered mine with out B&O how much the dealer's quoted you for them mine said around $7K ...... he said not worth it ,H&K will be enough he said.

B&O supposed to be arround 6500$-6700$ in Canada... Still going bavk and forth in my mind. Dealer will call me if a car with B&O comes in so I can compare "side by side"...

I listen to a lot of electronica and new alternative music and appreciate good sound quality. You can't enjoy 575 hp stuck in traffic but you can enjoy good sound. 7k over 48 months is nothing anyway.

My dealer talked me out of ceramic brakes. Said they have been in for squeaks. I also prefer the red color calliper to the orange. I am still a bit nervous that they won't stop as well as the C63 I have now. The E does come with wider front tires though, so mabye that will help real world stopping power enough to equal it out.

I am really looking forward to this car. Can't think of a better DD

When do you guys think the numbers will be available, I hate this waiting, we are 2 months away of commercial launch and they still don't have a complete order guide and final numbers. Is this normal for AMG cars?

I am going to take my E63S straight to my local high end stereo shop and add a JL Audio sub and JL audio amp to the factory system. That will cost me @$1500-$2000 which is a huge savings compared to the nearly $7000 that Mercedes wants. Sure I will miss the cool look of the tweeters and the metal speaker grills but I can also take the equipment with me when my lease is up.

Build for me now set to 15.06 and delivery to port 15.07, to dealer 23.07.
Buffered expectation by August 23 I should have it.

The B&O is more than just another sub. It will have more value on resale too I think. What are you going to do with a 4 year old used amp and sub anyway? wont' get much for it.

Go with the B&O man... you're spending six figures on the car already!

Only 1.5 months from build to delivery at dealer? Wow is that unusually fast or about average? I was fully expecting 2.5 to 3 months. I have a build date of August 8th for my E63S sedan, but dealer has not given me any delivery date.

it is the sedan. like I alluded to, I have pushed my expectation beyond what they tell me as I believe 'Expextation is the mother of disappointment'.

But they say,yes, I should have it about 5-6 weeks after the start build. Maybe there is built in 'we're going to get behind eventually' time for later build dates and they are trying not to disappoint with later build date estimates, don't know. As to why I am lucky [if estimate becomes truth], don't know.

All Canadian orders, Sedans and Wagons got pushed back to September from July. (aug 30 is basically sept. haha).

Everything you say is very true......I'm leasing the car and it increased the payment by $100 a month to add the B&O stereo. I had a hard time saying no but I had to draw the line somewhere.

Hey guys nice to see some Canadian members here. My Father put a deposit down on a 2014 E63 S 4matic, basically fully loaded, palladium silver on matte black wheels, back in March (we are in Toronto). No word yet on build dates so Im emailing the sales rep haha! looking forward to seeing all your cars!

Do you know where in the "line" you are? I'm second and still no order date... actually my dealer does not have a single E63 on order as of the last PO awarded at the beginning of June. The first one should be awarded at the beginning of July (september production --> november delivery) and the second one (mine) at the beginning of augsut (october production --> december delivery). They should have official MB Canada pricing information beginning of July.


I'm thinking I should start the new year with my new car! Now I have to look for a descent set of winter rubbers!!
