Has anyone received a delivery date for thier E63S Wagon?
and when did you order it? I placed my order in June and was told the build date would not be until January. Does this sound correct to the others who have ordered a wagon?

993, 2014 E63 Wagon
We ordered a wagon in late April. Two local dealers then were quoting mid-July build dates, but they recently pushed our build date to mid-Sept. I'm praying it doesn't get pushed again, but who knows.

2015 S550, 2014 E63 S-AMG Wagon, 2014 Audi RS7,2013 SL550, & 2011 CL550
I went to my dealer and ordered a 2014 G63 SUV and a E63S wagon in June.
The G63 is a October build and the E63S wagon is a January build.
Looks like the wagon will be built later in the production year.

I placed an order in late May but I think I was 3rd on the dealer's list for a wagon. I also have a Jan build date. Was shooting to do a factory delivery but will skip it now, as the weather won't be good in Jan.

The vehicle configurator is now up on the mbusa website for the E63S wagon. Has anyone had the build date for their E63S wagon pulled forward? It seems strange that they would be promoting the wagon if the build dates are not until 2014.

I am will be ordering for March delivery (since performance summer tires are on it) and don't want to switch out at start to winter - otherwise its Jan-14 if you order now...

Wow, you all have a lot more patience than me, I'd be too restless to wait half a year for a car to be built and be worried about having them push it back further or having the car come through wrong or something else getting screwed up. I think I'll just stick to my plan of buying a used wagon every few years, just got my first a couple months ago.

Oh ya, I agree they are amazing cars and theres gonna be a lot of talk about them in the car magazines etc. This pretty much put Mercedes to one of the top tier of high performance out of all cars. I figure I'll drive this 2012 I just got a couple of years and hopefully then find a used AWD AMG wagon, I hope lots of people buy them so there will be some used ones out there in a couple of years, I know even currently AMG wagons are hard to come by, when I found mine a few months back, I jumped on it. I was going to order a new one, but like I said I just did not like the idea of the long wait, I've had a few bad experiences ordering cars in the past.

For the record, the first wagons for U.S. are getting build the 3rd decade August, i.e. next week. So they'll be delivered near the end of September. There are also some wagons getting built 2nd decade September. You had to order in like March/early April to get in the first run. Ordering late April would get you in the 2nd run.
