Ultimate road trip car
Just did a 16 day, 3,900 mile road trip through six national forests/parks with the family rocketship. It carried kids, tents, firewood, big gulps and all kinds of stuff, provided a constant stream of rocking tunes with its superb sound system, flexed its muscles now and then, got 20 mpg, and stayed out of trouble thanks to the 9500ci. On the final two days we did back to back 750 and 700 mile days - i could have driven further. Other than maybe a Ferrari FF, I cant think of another car that could have done that trip as well.

Impressive. I could not get my wife to that if I was driving a Prevost Luxury RV while towing a water tanker for her to take showers and a gourmet chef on board. I'd have to promise her a Bahamas style beach at the end of every 10-15 miles.

Rs, was just looking at your pictures, your car looks identical to mine and is the same year. Did it come with those wheels? those wheels are just like mine. I just got the car 3 weeks ago but assumed the wheels were added on at a later date as it said in the carfax report of my car that the wheels were replaced shortly before I bought it and the wheels are perfect, not even a scratch on them, the wheels do say AMG on them though. I've also seen pictures of other 2012's and the wheels all look different from mine except yours.

You guys have a lot of patience ordering these cars, they could be delayed. That's why I finally decieded just to get a used 2012, plus I'm not real crazy about the styling of the new 2014's, I like that classic MB look. I saved a boat load of money too, like around 30 grand. But on the flipside the awd combined with all the power of TT 5.5 motor is going to be amazing, so I guess I can see the attraction.
