2013 E63 Price/Discount

Looking at possibly leasing one of the remaining 2013 E63s with MSRP of ~108K.
What kind of discount should I expect from a dealer in Los Angeles?
Are there any specials going on to help dealers get rid of 2013 inventory?
From your experience, what would the lease payment be for the car with above MSRP assuming no $$ down?

Thank you for your help!

I just bought a new 13 E63 in So CA. Stickered for $96,400, selling price $81,400, so $15K discount.

Good luck.

Yea I would start with 12% off minus 5k, if not more. The 12% is the markup (profit from holdback and also from invoice to MSRP) and I believe there is 5k back as well. I got 6k off a 2014 order so I think there is plenty of room for you to negotiate.

Wow, now I almost feel like I over paid for a 2012 e63 amg wagon I just bought a couple months ago for 80 grand, it had 11K miles on it and was like new.

I was talking sedan. I know the wagon is a different animal. I mean it's hard to price a car you cannot find. I'm not a wagon buyer but I would imagine there aren't many out there.

Bottom line though if you are happy w the car, and happy w the price. Who cares. It's not like they are investments anyway we know we are losing when you buy it, it's just a matter of how much!

There is no trunk money on a 2013 but there is a lease/finance with MBFS deductor. I think its 2500 right now.

And then there are motivated dealers who just need to move an old unit who had to net down their flooring on the car. So it all depends.

Did you end up getting one yet? There seems to be a bunch out on the west coast and with the 2014's arriving, I would think they are looking to move them.

No, didn't get one yet.
For some reason dealers here in LA area are still trying to get premium for the cars.
Best lease offer I got was $1200/month +tax on a 105K MSRP car...
Hopefully in September there will be a bit more flexibility...

My servicing dealer, Silver Star AG in Thousand Oaks, has two 2013 E63s.

One is diamond white, the other is black. One with burl interior, other with carbon fiber. Not real high content cars, but they have had them forever.

I got my @ Fletcher Jones, 120 Sticker for 99.

That being said, the payment is a direct reflection of how much drive off you can stand. It's easy to get payments of $1,200 to $1,500 on these cars with minimal drive off. A conversation that is had comparing deals without knowing the drive off amount can't be compared to other deals.

Good luck with the search!

A lot of those west coast cars are oddly packaged. Lots of designo options with unique seat/trim colors.

The ones at Silver Star are pretty basic, not too optioned up. Could be a good solution, of couse depending on what the dealer is willing to do.

I negotiated with Silver Star on their white one about a month ago before ultimately buying from CalStar. Best Silver Star was willing to do on their leftover white one was $14K off its $97,xxx sticker. Pretty strong if you ask me considering it's a minimally optioned car, but in the end CalStar still beat them with $15K off sticker on a similarly optioned car. I bet they would go further than the $14K discount now since the car is still sitting there.

For a 2013 with sticker of ~109, think a target price of 90k is attainable? Or maybe just offering my car as trade plus 30k. My car is worth about 60-62k on trade in (2012 C63).

You've gotten trade offers on a '12 C63 in the low $60's?

Yes, 60-61.5. But I'm looking at a 100k+ vehicle so they may just be playing the numbers with me to make it look like I"m getting more. And that's been from two different dealers. It is an edition one coupe, but that's not really worth any more unless it's the right buyer.

Need help here to understand the math: MSRP is invoice plus 12% and plus 5k, is this correct?

I've been talking to greedy dealer that gives 1k discount.

Can you share the name of your dealer? PM is fine.

Thanks a lot!
