2013 E63 AMG
Where are all the Kleemann M157 tunes?

Since their tunes were so solid on my C63s, I'm still considering Kleemann for my tune on the new 2013 E63. Problem is, I can't seem to find any independent reviews of this product.

Anybody out there have the Kleemann M157 tune, and care to share your experiences with it?

Thanks.

Pm Mr. Happy........he loves his. I also think that Pert had a Kleemann tune on his CLS. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with their downpipes and tune.

I've been looking at their tune for my SL63. About the same power as renntech, but much more reasonable. I can't find much data about the tune though. No dynojet #s, no dragstrip #s...

I talked to Cory and he claims their tune is bullet proof, with absolutely no issues thus far. He says to expect 660hp/720tq crank, and that is on the conservative side. I know from all my past experiences with him and Kleemann that when they quote expected results, they mean it. I really want to run it at the next Airstrip Event to see how it compares real world to the other M157 cars there with other vendor tunes.

Cory, if you see this post, maybe you can post up some dynojet and/or dragstrip results of other customers to help convince the several of us considering your tune.

I was emailing with Cory today. He sent me a dyno dynamics of a G63 w/downpipes. Said between 660-690 crank is what to expect. I sent him a couple other questions. Will see what he says. They need to get more info out there. Renntech has vids, dynos, and dragtimes results posted all over. Kleemann, nothing.

That's my truck. Look a few posts up and you'll find a link to the Dyno before and after.

After talking with Cory I've decided to go with Kleemann for my SL63. I'll have before/after dynos and more dragsrtip results in a week or two.

Great choice. I'm leaning that way too, and really looking forward to your dyno/dragstrip results. I think somebody will have a 10 second timeslip very soon.

Yeah I need to get it dynod as well. I wanted to do them on the same day, but I also wanted to get this ecu off so I can hit the track this Fri if it doesn't rain. Kind of a rush job. It will be coming though.

Wow, you don't mess around. I love it! Definitely need more of your kind in this forum. Can't believe your car performed so well given the conditions...102F!!! Cory definitely has his work cut out for himself to realize the advertised gains. If they come through, my ECU is next.

No doubt. My CLS 63 biturbo put down 480 at the wheels stock on this same dyno.

I have a 2013 CLS63 AMG Kleemann ECU tune + turbo pipes + cat-less pipes, BMC air filters, Brisk Racing Spark Plugs and LSD from Qualife + EBC Brake Pads. The car is very fast and very loud without any issues. I just need to separate intercooler cooling system from engine cooling system. That is my next step. That would really help with performance.

Mine is at the shop now getting worked over. I went in a little different direction than I originally planned.............should be good for some interesting discussion. I'll have more details soon about another tuning option for the M157.

No, I didn't dyno yet but did the quarter mile in 11.39 with stock tires.

The car was manufactured in the late 2012 and therefore the system is not separate. I bought all the parts for separation but don't know how to install it. Local MB dealer doesn't know how to install the parts either.

^Not yet. The closest non-invasive tune is a piggyback set-up.
