Tire Rack can't help...

Those look good. I've been trying to get wheels through Tire Rack (my normal supplier) but they haven't found an E63 to measure so they're not currently offering any wheels. Anyone have an E63 anywhere near Northern Indiana that they'll let TR measure? I'm fortunate I'm in NJ and we haven't had the weather we had the last couple of years but I really want to be well-shod by December. Any other recos would also be appreciated.

TireRack or anyone else after a bit of research will find that the offsets for the 19" wheels on 2014 are exactly the same as the last few years. I'm surprised they don't know that.

I got my 19" from TireRack and although they didn't have a 2014, they just used the 2013 for the measurements.

Have you put the new wheels on yet? If so, I assume no issues?

Heck, I was just at their HQ this July to have my rear tires changed. I lived only around 25 miles from TR's HQ. They didn't even mention anything. I'm sure I wouldn't mind if they had enticed me with some freebies.

Well, too late now since I've since relocated 1100 miles away. But at the same time, I have a pre-facelifted W212 E63 so I'm sure my RWD set-up will be different from the new AWD which will increase the turning diameter and affect some other wheel arch measurements.

Still, it shouldn't have been too difficult for them to find a car since I thought their local MB dealer said they have a working relationship. That MB dealer had a used (but claimed to be new) W212 E63 towards the end of 2011 sitting on the lot for a while. TR could have burrowed the car for a few hours to do the measurements.

I only have 50 miles or so on the car with my TSW Panorama wheels and the 255/35 19 Michelin Alpin PA4s but no issues so far. Wheels look great. I tried tirerack but wasn't thrilled with their choices so I went else where.

Hey JMM610 - here's my recommendation but everybody has different tastes so at least my 2cents. I just had themichelin ps a/s 3's mounted on my stock titanium ten spokes that came with the car. After a minor issue with improperly balanced wheels I was able to really drive this afternoon and I love these tires!

So I recommend the Michelins and here's what I am also doing. Takin' my time through the long NJ winter (got a feeling it's gonna suck) and researching wheels for the set of summer shoes I dismounted and stored away. Black wheels are on every car and truck I see and not that they are bad, I love the look but I have had several rigs with black wheels and I have come to truly admire the brushed aluminum (or chrome???) trim work and accents on the sAMG and plan on matching my wheels up with that finish.

By the way, where are you in Jersey?

After having doubts about the Verde wheels I ordered from Tirerack (thanks to X for getting me to doubt!) I decided to cancel my order (they where backordered anyways) and look for something else. I was really into the TSW wheels and was looking for a distributor in canada when I stumbled apon a site in canada that offered them. While looking arround at options I found a great set of SLS replicas for a really good price so I decided to go that route. Here is a picture of the wheels. For the price I will play arround with plastidip or even get the powder coated... I went with 19x8.5 with 35 mm offset.

Now I need to find some center caps and I'm good to go!

Kart,

Those look sweet. Can't tell anything about them but if they fit, rock'em! If the center cap size is same as OEM get some oem ones from eBay. I got black and they look great.

For 166$ a piece its a good deal... I'll try to go at dealer with one wheel to do a trial on a car with cc brakes before hacking at them with plasti dip!

Have you checked if 19x8.5 fit all around? I'm waiting to see if it works for rhukster

I'm pretty sure it will fit. What is your concern for fitment?

Maybe MB just wants people to mount wheels on factory wheels. Based on a lot of reading I made and calculations on rims website it should be fine.

We will find out soon I guess!

The advantage of going square with equal wheels instead of staggered is the possibility to switch tires from front to back.

You are going to have an Friday as exciting as mine usually are

My only tips from plastidiping my emblems: Remember it over sprays like crazy, so tape off extra.

More coats is better for peeling so do at least 6 coats.

**** smells like crazy so make sure you do this in a well ventilated area.

Good luck and post pics!

See my post here:

https://mbworld.org/forums/5859534-post111.html

In short, they didn't fit. However, I don't think this is a problem with the 19"x8.5" size or even the offset, it's just these BR09 wheels have a quite pronounced inset lip in the construction that is causing interference with that dust/stone guard.
