2013 E63 Biturbo vs 2013 Lambo Aventador
First off, much thanks to Tony for putting together another amazing event, this time No Fly Zone 3. It was an amazing 1/2 mile airstrip roll on event that ran like clockwork all day. Great weather, great cars, great people, what more could a car enthusiast ask for!
Here's one of my more exciting runs against a new 2013 Lambo Aventador. He had exhaust, otherwise stock. My mods are in my sig. Both cars had 1 passenger.
My trap speed on this run was 158.8mph vs his 160.2mph. Best trap of the day for me was 161.8mph while edging out my friend's new 997.2 Porsche Turbo S with race gas tune. Pretty impressive for a 4-door grocery-getting, tune-only car. And it's only Renntech's Intermediate Tune to boot!

eric, good to meet u yesterday, the event was quite fun....i think i hit 147 on one of my best runs, full tank of 91, and a passeger, so i guess its time to hit up the tuners

Pleasure meeting you as well. Unfortunately I didn't get to run either of those cars, but I did see one of Faris's runs where he trapped 162.x. His car with Weistec tune and downpipes is crazy fast.

Strong win E--- those damn M157's are so fawking amazing with and without a tune!!!!!! Imagine how our cars would be with a DCT--- I expect better results.
I just tuned my M157 SL63 and it feels even stronger than my tuned CLS and E63 Wagon but I got rid of the wagon and the CLS in 2012

Great run Eric your car is fast with Intermediate tune 
My car was slipping on sport traction because the airstrip was wet at the beginning of the event until the sun showed up but the car did great next time I will run slicks on stock wheels or CCW light wheels to get hold of that power

I think it has a recommended threshold of 600 lb/ft (at the wheels)--- at least with the M cars I have and the PDK on my 997.2 TTS had the same recommendation (what tuners said on 6 speed). So yes you are correct the tq of the M157 would rule out the DCT since most guys are well over 650 at the wheels if not more with a tune.
