Michelin, anyone?
I'm not fond of Continental tires and was looking for the Michelin PSS in stock sizes for the E63 and apparently they dont make them. Is this true? Does anyone have them on their car?

Mine came with Pirreli P Zero M0. They only have less than 400 miles on them right now.
Probably going to sell them so I can put on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3.

I hate Contis and Dunlops, both have failed me in past. PZ's decent, have PZ on Ferrari, happy, but replacing with Supersport. If I can't get PZ on wagon when it comes in, then 295 PSS going on. Rolling diameter identical to 285 Contis which is only thing car "sees". I'm not a big fan of all seasons, but I live in south. Grew up in snow, use snows all around.

All seasons? No way. I'll have my performance street tires and a dedicated winter setup. I hope Michelin will make the correct factory size soon. And I wonder why Benz didnt make a larger wheel to mount larger tires? A car with this much power needs a larger tire regardless of AWD.

Vdub, does the car seem to handle any better or hook up any better with the Michelins? Is the ride any better that you notice. Still have not made a move with my car yet as I'm not driving it too much lately so the stocker tires are not wearing, but I know by next spring I'll have to make a decision. I go back to those new England roads with the car then and am going to be looking for a better ride, the Conti's are very harsh over bumps.

ride isnt any different....performance wise, at the NO Fly zone air strip races, my foot was on the floor, and i didnt have any tirespin, granted we were doing some rolling starts,
havent tested it too much in the bends yet....
i think bottom line its a no brainer...esp after u do your research, as u , I and other did
they have better tread warrenty, so even if they wear u can get some credit, they are cheaper, and better rated...granted u have to use 295, but ive had no issues thus far

I've had them on for 1500 miles so far and love them. They'll be used for more than 6 months out of the year and the summers will wrap around an aftermarket set of wheels I plan to select and purchase by May although I may just keep the A/W tires on with the 10 spoke titaniums and save a couple g's and not get a summer set of wheels.
