Some snow fun yesterday w/pics

Also saw these beauties recently, in love with the SLS BS. CLA looked cool but not worth its price tag imho, still a cool car though. Enjoy

Wow. The E63 is now popsicle looking. By the way, what's the vehicle on the other side of the E550? Is it an E36 convertible?

Man thats a badass looking E63!! i've always wondered how they would handle with some snows on them. great to know, did you go up any hills covered in snow? Drove an S600 last week, my dad was thinking about getting one and putting snows on it, too much power though the car was all over the road, it had the conti's they put on all the CPO cars, so not snow tires but still....wonder what it would be like with snows.

While I covet the 2014 4matic AMG I've found the 2012 RWD surprisingly competent in the snow :

I noticed something the other day while looking at the E63 on car.com and autotrader.com that some of the S-model's had silver 10 spoke wheels like the non S models. I still prefer the titanium though. Perfect color to compliment the car.

And thats strange 6.3 i havent seen that yet, maybe the dealer swapped wheels or something thats really strange, the titanium looks the best IMO and really flows well with the white and red calipers. And yeah black is definitely played out and a pain in the *** to keep clean. I might switch my exterior parts out to carbon one day, im sure it will cost less than the 6k it does on the order sheet

Hmmmm, I tried ordering Blizzaks (255 front and 275 rear) from Tirerack for my stock rims and they called me back saying they couldn't do it since that setup didn't support the cars weight comfortably. Surprised you're able to get 255's all around. Regardless, be safe out there!
I figured 3130 for front and 3130 for rear it is plenty for the car that weighs 4100lbs. So far haven't had any trouble but only good results.
EDIT: I have Blizzak LM-60, maybe you tried some other ones as I just checked tirerack.com and they even recommend this size for RWD e63.

Anyhow, didn't mean to threadjack. I've had all sorts of fun in the snow as well but I'll keep the antics relegated to my 4 wheel drive cars
