'12 Headlight haze? Anyone else?
The initial solution was to put much more permeable rear covers on the lights, allowing the moisture to escape after going through one heat cycle. If the "haze" didnt clear up pretty quickly (and I dont think it ever did... I cant imagine how.) they would replace the whole unit, this time with an assembly that had the permeable back plate on it so that it wouldn't haze up the new unit.
You must be an imposter, as the REAL vdubpower has this sig :

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Thank you and sorry or the hijacking!!!
which is crazy as it is a new car
ive wondered around my local dealership and seen the haze with xenon and non xenon cars alike
i dont when my haze started, but i only noticed it when i saw a thread here, but it may have been there
i have new lights on order, apparrently, but yeah im concerned that it will return and that they may not be aligned right either....
so i noticed mine first in 12/2013 in this thread, but it was likely there before
those pics with the front spoilers was from march 2013, so between that time it occurred

or is the new old stock also just bad...
i dont even know if i should show my service advisor at this point......
Personally, I would take the car back to the SA.
BTW, your car , being 3 yrs old, would certainly have some mild pitting in the lens from gravel, sand, etc.
Do you see any of that on the lenses now ?
