'14 E63S Options for Second Set of Rims - not OEM

currently on my s4 I have these second set wheels
http://hartmannwheels.com/content/ph...x800_Black.jpg

Hartmann Wheels look great, same quality as Audi OEM, and are very reasonably priced - looking for similar for the E63.

I don't know how to say it, but most of the wheels that are not OEM look out of place to me on many of these cars I see - looking for a set that would blend naturally....

I found several options

basic and expensive @ $630
http://www.midwestwheelandtire.com/s...=E63&year=2013

reasonably priced, but don't like look (too plasticky..)
http://www.mandruswheels.com/mercedes_benz_wheels.php

this site has a lot of wheels, but the only ones I like are vellano, but for that price I can get OEMs..
http://www.carid.com/2013-mercedes-e...-wagon-wheels/

Would like to hear from others how they went about it.

P.S. called parts department and they said $1k per OEM

All these rims are more expensive than new OEMS - cannot be the only option?

Here's a nice selection of OEM & Brabus:

http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mer...ss_saloon_w212

OEM takeoffs are always going to be cheap on ebay.

If you want high-quality wheels, then you're going to pay for them.If you want cheap cast wheels, then shop ebay or some of the interweb dealers.

Check out TSW, like the Nurburgring. You can get them in essentially OEM offsets, and they're a seemingly strong wheel at very reasonable prices. Better than cheap Chinese cast wheels but much less expensive than top-shelf forged wheels. I'm running them on my 2014, bought from Discount Tire.

IT LIKE ITS STOLEN!
I disagree, get a cheaper wheel trust me I've owned them all I've spent close to 10k in wheels and everything bends in NY, get a cheaper wheel and just buy a new one when you bend it!

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Or source a manufacturer that is willing to bend you a set of 19" steel rims and you wouldn't have to worry about potholes anymore. But at 19", I'm sure you wouldn't want to know how much they weigh.

Please pick up what this man is laying down. 100% agree! thankfully I bought the wheel insurance when I bought the car in November and the dealer has already replaced 3 wheels due to potholes and mysterious NJTP wheel killers! (A big rock). Although these titanium ten spokes are awesome and real expensive, and the insurance makes it no cost too me, I want a second set for my all weather tires so in the fall I am planning on the TSW nurburgring mirror cut face gun metals. Box up the expensive ones in the winter and bust 'em out late spring through Halloween. Just sayin'

Eric, can you post some pics of the TSW rims when you can - getting wagon in polar white/night styling and black 10spokes as OEMs.

thanks

there has to be some ground in-between..... good looks and decent price/quality - otherwise some could make a killing here with proper advertising....

but definitely don't want to spend ludicrous amounts (only way I would if I bought another set of OEMs w insurance)

The only middle ground I've seen is TSW. I'll try to post a pic sometime, but trust me it looks outstanding.

I've had the same dillemma. $5K-$10K or more on wheels seem dumb when they curb and bend like $1500 wheels that you can just replace many times over for the same price.

What I am finding difficult is that the offsets for the E63 don't work for most wheels or they don't come in a 19x10 rear (want to run 295 PSS).

These aren't the mirror-cut ones, but the gun metal version:

I think they were about $315 a piece. These are all 19x8.5" with snow tires for winter use. I have the optional black rims for warmer times.

Also - how did you deal with tire pressure issues - according to the MB parts dept - they says its gonna cost $200 per wheel to install tire pressure monitors...

I bought the wheels + tires + TPMs already mounted and balanced from Frank at WheelsBoutique. No problems resetting the TPMs when I put the new wheels on.
