Big thanks to Shift-S3ctor for putting on another great event, this time a 1/3 mile roll on at Willow Springs Raceway.

My 2013 E63 w/ Renntech Intermediate Tune and 95 octane blend ran extremely well considering the minimal mods. Below are vids of all my runs.

Hey Eric,

I guess Im not especially familiar with the process, but could you please describe roughly what was happening in the video? I can't tell when the races start and stop.

Basically we just pace each other side by side at about 40 mph as we come around the corner and then both punch it as we pass the first set of cones. Then we let off at the next set of cones which is 1/3 mile from the first set. At that point I was typically going about 142-145 mph.

Very, Very impressive results. I'm pretty shocked that you beat the Weistec E63 with a turbo upgrade!! That car should be running 100hp more than yours. What was the reaction like at the event with you dominating so much? I imagine a lot of egos bruised.

Yes, for all runs I started in 2nd at around 40-45 mph.

As always great stuff Eric. I was reading on the M5 boards about how that monte carlo blue M5 kept jumping and your vid shows proof.

Did you get a chance to run Nick (Niko) in his Switzer M5? His video against the McLaren was similar to yours.

Thanks Vic. Although Nick and I had intended to run, we never got a chance, but I'm sure we would have been neck and neck assuming a clean start.

As far as I know it was running well. However, I think the car still has more potential given the torque limitations tuners are still trying to work out on the 14 AWD models.

Thanks for sharing and impressive runs.
I am very impressed with your whp numbers for an intermediate tune. it is a bit more than the recorded ones we got on the better Renntech tune CLS on the same dyno in Miami.
Locally last time a run occured against a McLaren (50ish to 130ish), CLS was ahead to 100 but past that, the Mclaren caught up and kept pulling away as speed was increasing.
On the M5, since you won the race, I would venture to say that the 650whp is an inflated number as I have never heard of any F10 making that kind of power with those mods.
As others have indicated, there is something not right with that Weistec car. That car with upgraded turbos should have pulled on you.

Nothing, a tuned E63 is faster I've seen many races with the very same outcome.

Nice runs Eric, way to represent as I was watching each video one I started saying damn that thing runs strong I wonder how it would run against Drew's car and low and behold it was the next video and that went pretty much how I thought it would but Damn your beast is strong. It makes me want to go out and pick up a 2012 or 2013 and throw the same tune on it and call it day!

Thanks! Yes, I was just happy to keep Drew's car in the camera angle for the duration of the run.

Planning to add Renntech downpipes and upgraded tune for the next event, but honestly, the car is running so well as is I'm scared to tamper with it.

Sometimes we have to just listen to our conscience. If there was a way you could or shall I say they could guarantee that it will be quicker/faster or your money back then I would do it. For just a tune you have sick 1/4 times with a strong mph and no ca. smog issues..... I would just leave it
