E63 w/ Klassen M52R

After 4 years with my E63, I finally decided to put on a set of aftermarket wheels, tint and drop. I kept going back and forth between the HRE P40s, HRE P101s and Vorsteiner VSE-003. Eric at Supreme Power suggested I consider the Klassen M52R, put together a great package deal and I was sold.

20x9 with 265/30/20 front
20x10 with 295/25/20 rear

Finish is Textured Gunmetal. I used H&R springs up front. Still debating on using links for the rear but so far really happy with the look.

Thanks to Eric at Supreme Power for getting me the wheels/tires/springs, CEC for the install, and Sunshine Glass Tinting for the tints. All of these guys were great throughout the process.

I've attached a few pics (including a shot with my buddy's E550 on P40s).

I like how your corner lights are painted body color. Did you just take that to a body shop to do? What kind of prep work do they need to do to paint over the reflective material to make it smooth looking?

So the front does not have Air Ride ? only the rear does ?

Or did you throw it all out and changed those with H&R springs ?

Btw car looks dope and sits very flush- I hope the ride isn't very harsh.

I actually ordered the painted side markers when I first bought the car. I can't remember where I ordered them from, but I got the name from this forum.

W212 E63s comes with steel springs at front and air ride at rear.

I really like the aggressive rear spoiler. Can you share where you got it from?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks. The front of the w212 E63 uses springs, while the rear is air suspension. So I just swapped the front springs with H&R. I debated using links for the rear, but thought it looked good as is.

The ride is noticeably harsher on rough roads, but otherwise not much of an issue.

I've got the Vorsteiner rear spoiler and rear diffuser. Pretty aggressive. I think it really changes the look of the rear.

Wow Reeza, those look awesome! Your front drop is pretty aggressive...I might think about links just to drop the rear a smidge.

Love the 52Rs. So tempted in matte black...

Congrats!

Yeah right. I did not know that. Does H&R springs do anything for the ride handling or is just for the drop ?

I would assume that shocks are the one that improve handling not springs right ? (springs have a bounce rate which could have an effect) but still ?

For me it was an easy way to extend the life of the car. It feels like I have a brand new ride. And when you do decide, you will not be disappointed with the Klassens.

Thanks. Honestly, the front was more aggressive than I expected but surprisingly no rubbing issues. I hear you on the links...maybe when the newness of the wheels wears off.

I'm not an expert, but the springs are more for the look. As you said, if you want to improve handling, you should probably go the coilover route where the springs and shocks work in tandem.

I can't say enough about these wheels and the textured finish is really nice

yeah klassens are great, i had a nice discussion with frank about their wheels and vision.
If i get something , it will still probably be 19s though...

in regards to the rears....some say that the rear will adjust it self based on how the front is changed....the cpu knows...i dunno, or i guess u can go way lower with links ....
