Anybody know or could recommend a cell phone mount that works w/ the 2014 E63 AMG? Preferably not a suction cup one. Thanks!

I wonder if there is one that will plug straight into the cigarette lighter under the center stack.

Sorry off topic here but I miss the days when cell phones are small enough that they will most likely fit in that slot under the front of the left half center console cover. Now phone are so big that they are approaching the size of mini tablets. IMO it is just a sore sight to see so many people walking around while wearing a small TFT screen on the waist. And at the same time having the nearby pelvic bone and surrounding tissues absorb all the electromagnetic frequency coming out of that thing.

I have used this for a while now in my '14 E63 and Porsche and find that it works as advertized. I don't have any buzzes or rattles and it fits very securely to the vent vain and the phone itself. It doesn't mar the finish either. It's made very well.

I have right now on E-Bay the Pro-Clip hone mount for Mercedes -the rare European one which can be mounted on the driver's side or passenger's side.

I use the RAM mount XGrip. It is suction cup but top of the line. The suction cup is very large and strong.

The best mount are made by Brodit in Sweden and sold here by Pro Clip US. Nothing else even come close. Any mount which is using a vent is a poor substitute because you do not want your vent blocked by your phone. Of course you can not find all the choices in US -sometimes you have to go to Brodit in Europe and they have an inteligently designed mount for any car from a Skoda to a Lada and then a holder for any device you might need in front of you. Nothing else even come close. I have right now on E-Bay a very rare Europen center mount for E -Class which can be mounted on the driver side or passanger side on which you will have to add the holder for your device.(and is not blocking your vent). This is W212 before the face lift -check the E-Bay. The mount is not available here and is bellow cost.
