Unsafe - 2014 AMG E63 S - about to send lemon law letter to MBUSA
I'm guessing it happens when the car is warm and not when you are driving it whilst still cold?
It's no comparison but for what it's worth -some of us E55 owners face this transmission jerk issue when the car isn't in operating temp. After one or
two shifts it goes away.
Again, it can't be compared cuz apples vs oranges but I'm wondering if it only happens when the car isn't in operating temps ?

these are not the smoothest transmissions. any change from reverse to drive to park is slow and not always smooth. i just assumed it's the side effect of creating a transmission that can shift smoothly very quickly while being able to handle guys drag racing their sedan cars.
let us know.

Thanks to all of you for your insight and support!
They will ultimately fix that car and it'll go to auction and end up on a no-name lot somewhere in the country and someone will have to take a big chance to buy that car -- hope they do their homework and investigate -- either way -- NOT YOUR PROBLEM!
Congrats -- just picked up a white/black E63S myself... looking forward to chatting with you about it once I take delivery
I was thrilled to see a different motor builders name on my new one - Sascha B needs be retrained or better yet retired!
Wishing your new one is solid and trouble free as it appears most peoples' 14 E63s's are.... (me included!!)

Especially when doing so from an anonymous internet forum account.
These men and women care a lot about their profession. They wouldn't work in Affalterbach is they weren't the best. They put their names on their work. Where else do you see that?
So lame it hurts.
Congrats again.

83zzz just shoot out the last 4 digits of the VIN, that, and it was an iridium silver .. that should be good enough. Not to mention the carfax will clearly tell you the service records of what it was in for with the dealership website link so you can call that dealership and discuss what they were working on -- I.e. wet clutch issues and intake manifold leak .. i.e. neck snapping problems!!
The E class has its issues. I am not thrilled with the build quality. The C we have is like carved out of a rock. Much more solid, but too tight inside for me. The wife loves it.
