First time I've seen someone complain of too much grip haha. That said, while Michelin PSS are great, they're still no competition tires (in terms of grip).
Apply more throttle and play around with your initial steering angle. You should have no trouble drifting.
And not to be Debbie Downer but even if you're all by your lonesome, public roadways are the last place you want to drift. The surface is too unpredictable and there are too many other obstacles/variables.
Now, if you were talking about the track, try what I said above my public service announcement.

I nearly went with them but really wanted to keep the stock sizing so I went with the Bridgestone Pole Positions and have been very happy with them. They break loose very little even with traction control off and a full throttle start, hook up much better than the stock conti's. I've got around 7500 miles on them and they still look good, I was nervous about fast wear from the reports I've read. But I do think I will get at least 15K miles out of them which is not bad. I had the PSS on a Pontiac G8GT I had and really like those tires, they are pretty awesome and smooth driving too.

18k miles in a RWD e63? No way. I got 15k kms on two sets (275s) on my C63... Can't see it with a heavier car with more power... Especially if the owner likes to get the tail out!
I have 295s on the back of my S... Power goes down all the time. Such a great daily driver and with PSS tires you're pretty much the king of the road everywhere. Pretty sure I'm gonna pile the miles on this one and get another.

I'm running PSS right now on my HRE 20' I don't see the grip your talking about the car lose traction at 50mph. I'm going with 315/30/20 Toyo R888 when my PSS are done

I recently picked up the Michelin PS A/S 3's and they're pretty awesome all around. I didn't want to get strictly summer tires such as the PSS as I'm in Chicago and although in the winter I check the weather for snow before I hit the road for work, I've gotten caught in some snow storms fast before I can make it home to swap for the Frontier 4x4. So it make sense for me to have an All Season and it was down to this the A/S 3's or the Conti DWS's. It was a tough call because before I picked up the E63 I had an LS460 and had DWS's on there and they were phenomenal. But research and a $70 rebate made the decision easier for putting on the A/S 3's and I'm thrilled. I plan on doing at least one track day with her this summer so I'll report how these tires handled.

I want to get stickier tires than the stock Conti's but I'm afraid of dropping down in speed rating. I'm having a stage 3 Weistec supercharger installed on top of Renntech R4 stuff - so I need good grip but I'd also like a set of tires that are safe at high speeds. My local track has a "Street Racing Made Safe" program where races start from a roll anywhere between 20 and 60mph so speeds can get pretty crazy when all is said and done.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

The Toyo R888's look great but this IS a daily driven car and from reviews I hear they may not be the best choice for that reason...
I'm probably never going to go over 186mph...
Are THESE stickier than the stock Continentals?

2008 Saab 93 TurboX SC (BSR stage 1)/2014 E63 S Wagon (Rebellion Tuned/Renntech Sport Mufflers)
I had a set of R888's a couple of years ago when I was tracking the Saab regularly. It is a great track tire but really noisy on the public roads. I was changing tires at the track but once it started raining so I drove back 4h with the R888 and it was really anoying.
PSS I had them on my C63 and they are by far better than OEM Contis... (I had Yoko Advans as OEM but similar to Contis.)
If you plan to track once in a while the PSS are perfect. If you track often the it might be a good idea to get dedicated set of track tires and the R888 would be my choice.

Thanks, guys. My car isn't intended for frequent track visits. I simply want a lot of power if and when I need it. And for bragging rights. :p If I want to say my car has almost 800hp, it needs to be true. I don't want to hear ANYTHING from Dodge Hellcats. :o

Did you do anything with the offsets of the wheels? Or do the 295s just fit the stock 19 inch wheels with no issues? Would love to get PSS. Just need to know what size fits.
