Hello guys,


Has anyone upgraded from Multi Contour seats to Dynamic Multi Contour seats - which include the massage function and active bolsters.


The air reservoir is in place (in the rear load area) and the seats already have pneumatic bladders.


I wonder if it's anything more than the control switch on the seat and a re-code.


All thoughts gratefully received.


Forgot to add, the car is a 2014 E63S Wagon:

I'm in process of ordering all parts for passenger side dynamic seat retrofit. USA cars only have dynamic for the driver side and nothing for the passenger side. I'm getting all my parts through Steve at MBenzNL who is the specialist for retrofits like this.

I have no need for it, as I never told the wife that I have the massage on my side !

For the US we don't have the standard multicontour seats (except as an option for non AMG E-Classes).

Cost for the one side retrofit will be under $4,000 USD. Still working everything out, there's a lot of parts to get and my guy has been slammed lately.

Haha. That strategy worked for me until she drove it, noticed the side bolsters, and then started investigating. 😄

Both front seats of my 2004 Mercedes e500 had Dynamic seats. Doing just the driver for a 100k car is despicable.

in my case, it’s her car so she gets to enjoy the active bolstering and massage function when she drives, which is whenever I am not in the car. I think it’s a pretty fair compromise.
