Finally Pics of my new 2011 by popular request

Sorry for being too lazy in posting these even though a few of you have requested it.
First, as a reminder, this is my latest AMG after my 2000 E55 (only owner she ver had) was totalled on Easter by red light runner.
I picked up Eva (her name) about 7 weeks ago nearly fully loaded. No P30 or rear entertainment. She still had 3 months of factory warranty left. Since then the factory has replaced the headlights, battery, command control knob, and have back ordered all new interior wood trim due to defective sun bleaching. They also re-tightened all of the pano perimeter bolts to fix the the banging sound turning into driveways.
The dealership I bought her from replaced all rotors and pads right b4 I bought her as well. I got her for $51k out the door with 31,000 miles on her.
Here are the pics. Go easy guys as I know some of you have some pretty sweet rides. But I am really enjoying her until my next turbo version that I can tune the sh*t out of! Lol.

However when you click on the thumbnail for the full size pic it comes up right side up.
At least that is what happens on my ipad. I didnt check it on PC.
Anyone have an idea as to why I could not attach more than one pic at a time? I tried everything. And when I would select additional pics it would just overwrite the previous pic.
Maybe it is this da*n iPad??

Still cant figure out the limitation to one pic at a time.
Sorry for the upside down pics guys. It must have been the retard sandwich I had for dinner last night. 😃
When I click on the thumbnails on the iMac, the pictures open upside down. When I downloaded them to the iMac, and opened them in Preview, they were right side up.

When I tried to repost them for you, and attatched them, they appeared upside down in the preview post

I then opened the original download in Preview (which were right side up) and flipped them upside down and tried another post with them as attachments and again, they appeared upside down in the preview post

I then gave up

Perhaps a mod could chime in. I suspect the files are carrying some metadata or sidecar tag causing the funky behavior.

So that appears on my end in everyway to be right side up.
But . . . ..
I still can only attach one pic per post/reply.
WTH???
Next and last pic is the spot free perfectly clean engine compartment.
GO WARRIORS! Lol

But
Doesnt your car's name have to be a womans name and German?
My wife's car ( 2013 GLK350 in red) is named Ludwig. Oh, and yes she is a musician ! Lol
Boys name for girl owners.
Girls name for boy owners.

You would think it would be night and day difference. But it is a bit more subtle than I expected.
Top end is night and day.
Max torque on the w210 was earlier in rpm. So off the the line it seemed very responsive. Still not what the w212 is, but it was about 158 less hp!
With all that said, I do love this car.
Handling is still a bit in question compared to the 2000 e55. That 2000 really handled well. Seems like the new one has a bit of understeer in comparison. In fairness, I am still getting used to it.
In terms of beauty and modern options, it is hands down light years ahead! Audio sound might not be much better though. Although I am very picky audiophile type. Used to be a principal design engineer for Velodyne Acoustics. The low end is lacking in comparison to w210. If I get around to adding a tandem sub, it will then be clearly better.
The net answer to your question is this a much nicer overall machine!
Yeah the W210 does handle better - I'd pay testament to that.IMO I'd have been happier if the motor either made closer to 600hp or wasn't as heavy...I mean...it's not like it hasn't got enough displacement! For me the straight line performance is a bit disappointing for what it could have been. And it's not like the torque is all down low because as you are aware, it's more of a top-end kinda motor. I like surge when the motor comes on cam at high rpm, but it just needs more of it. Oh and FML that flat spot between 60mph and 80mph makes me miss my old E55.
That being said....it is a very pretty saloon and very classy without shouting about itself and so i love it too

Means a lot coming from you as I know your ride is awesome!
To answer your question about wax and such, I have to honestly say I haven't done it yet. I will be doing it soon though and that is why I started the thread about polishers and chemicals.
Credit for finish currently goes to my dealer believe it or not. My SA told me he put his top detailer on my car. I paid $295 for full detail to include an engine compartment you can be proud of. But I am an ultra perfectionist. So in bright sun I can still find minor swirls and holograms that I want to lose. I think I can. Black is tough. But I was able to do it on my previous 2000 E55.
THEN A STUPID OLD LADY RAN A RED LIGHT ON EASTER!!! Ugh.
Bright side though is that it put me in Eva (her name) about 2 years earlier then I planned.
Thanks again for your positive words!
