would you buy your 2012-2013 Bi-Turbo all over again?
I'm looking at these years '12-13 and wondering from those who own them - would you buy again?
what issues have you seen/fixed? any repeat issues?

2016 AMG S65, AMG GL63, 2012 AMG E63 With AMS Alpha 9 Package, Renntech 200 Catted Downpipes.
I would buy my 2012 all over again with the same tune that I have now.
If your looking to buy one, be sure it's CPO and buy the extended warranty. Check if the headlights have the V mark in the inner lens, if so ask the dealer replace it.
Also try to find one with LSD so your not fish tailing all of the place with all the power.

i drive them all, fast and hard
yeah, id buy it again....no major issues in 4 yrs
cat coverter sensors went out twice, replaced,
air bellows in suspension bad , replaced
did the headlight swap.
otherwise nothing else.
I purchased ext warrenty, so 3 more yrs left
if i sold it now, and maybe got 55grand for it, what could i buy with the same performance??

The bulb in the headlights, burns to hot thus burns a V shape mark on the inner headlights lens. Dealer knows about this shortfall and should replace it free of change. You can see the V shape mark during the day and at night when the headlights are on.

Sorry, but no. LSD is an option and is not standard with the P30 package. I have become a believer the LSD with the power I put out helps me get a stright line acceleration. No fish tailing.

Get it from the factory LSD, can't go wrong with it. My 2012 had 6,000 miles on it and now 18,000 miles. Don't buy an AMG without warranty. Good luck with your hunt.

Your always right Vdub. It's the bulbs that gets too hot thus the headligh lens burns. I don't see how any cleaning method can resolve this issue. Press your dealer and they will replace the headlights. They actual make money doing this.

here are the instructions to dealers. its already been revised 3 times. most dealers dont even know about this because there is no mention of a V (except for in a tech topic file). mercedes will receive the warranty claim and debit the dealer and deny them for replacement of the headlamps but by this time you will be gone and its on them. the dealers will soon catch on.

I'd definitely buy again, best car I've had. No issues other than bent rims but that was fault (actually the highway dept's fault) as I hit a gargancious bump in the road last spring.
