Right, but the problem is people will have a right to complain when that information is advertised, and when you go home and bust a 3.3 0-60 time, you won't be very happy. It just needs a little asterisk next to it and it's all good.
Doesnt matter... you can't advertise a product and have no certainty about what you advertise.
We have installed many Alpha kits here on W212s, W218s and GTRs and one thing I can say is these kits make SERIOUS power. I unfortunately don't want to take a customer's car out after the install with a vbox and start doing 0-60 launches

Ow sir you dont have to take customers car and do launches.
You can ask each customer after they get their st2 done to make some vbox 0-100 times, and then just send you the pics. You can collect data for all different cars. Then you can share them to us or different sources stating that this is the real result times. See this is how adults deal with a problem.

I can do that. I'm sure you can understand a package like this isn't purchased frequently. I can ask the next customer who purchases to help.
So if I purchased this kit, and did vbox 0-60 tests on flat grade, along with logging them to prove WOT tests; $1000 refund for every .1 seconds slower results than 2.85 0-60mph?

Wouldn't this be a lovely concept? Hell, I'd pay full price, have the car done at AMS, and even let AMS beat on it as much as they wanted to get it down to 2.85. And go with that every 1/10th slower I get $1000 back.
Had my 63 updated by AMS (car already had AMS 76mm down pipes with high flow cats and full exhaust) with their Alpha7 tune. Flat torque curve from 2500 - 4500 RPM with 760 torques at the wheels and 607 wheel hp. I have mountains of torque, breaks traction in second/third without thinking if not careful and just plain rips. Absolutely great tune. The AMS guys in West Chicago rock.
Downpipes and tune only for high 10's?! If that's true outside of a sample size of 1 (that being AMS themselves), I'm sure many would happily pay the price
If it's been around this long, surely there are many real world proven results?!
