Man...this thread is pure gold for those of us looking to make a wheel change and having zero experience doing so. Crazy the number of cars I've owned and never once have I bought aftermarket wheels...I've had summer/winter setups, but they were always purchased by the prior owners.
So here is what I'm thinking for wheels.
Front 20x9 ET 32 and Rear 20x10.5 ET 48. This will be on a 2016 E63 wagon. I'm on stock suspension. I want meaty but no rubbing.
I haven't come across this exact setup in the prior 7 pages of posts...but did see some close. seems like most are running 255/30/20 or 265/30/20 in front and either 285/25/20 or 295/25/20 in the rear. Wondering if the 295 rear with the 48 ET is "enough" or if I could go up to a 305 with the ET 48 to move towards a "flush" look. On the front...seems a lot go with 255, although I did see an ET 38 with 265s. With my ET 32 wondering if I'm best to stick with a 255.

I'm not running a meaty tire look so I can't answer your questions directly, but for your front setup I think you could manage 265 on stock suspension. I'm on KW HAS, which is barely lowered than stock and running 255/30/20 on 20x9 ET 25 in the front.

I’ve just cracked my second OEM wheel, so trying to decide to go find another front OEM wheel (like I did the last time) or go aftermarket. I’d like to stay as close to the OEM look as I can, as I like it, this car is Iridium silver with the AMG Night trim, and the wheels are the black 10-spoke wheels with the brushed rim. I really like them, but it now feels like I have two ticking time bombs on two of the corners.

Those values are correct for OEM wheels.
I use my OEM Forged twin 5 spokes w/ Continental AS for winter.
The rim is a 20x9, yes 25mm. 35mm is not near flush.
I could fit a 255 tire no problem, I have a 245 on there because it's the only option in all-season tire.
I currently run a 20x9 255 et + 25. Does not rub at all. Found a Smokin deal on a brand new set of work vss 3 piece but the fronts are 20x8.5 et 17. Will stick out 2 more mill with 245s just nit sure how things will sit at full lock either way. Has anyone had these. I know it's alota poke of the car but I can't really turn down the deal. Has mich pss tires with under 1000 miles on the set for 3000$

I think this awesome deal (provided it's all undamaged and we are talking about front and rear wheels and tires) will actually work. The new set up will be sticking out 13.7mm as compared to stock. Some are running a 12.5mm spacer up front on stock set up and lowered with no issues reported as of yet. Good luck!

Damn, I know where this was taken. Somewhere in the Boise foothills. You wrecked the car last year. Saw it sell on Copart recently again on the east coast.

Originally was going to go with 255s vs the 265s for the front, but thanks to another post on the forum, even though Vossen noted the 265s wouldn't fit, I calculated out I would only be 1mm further out than another setup, so I figured it had to fit...and it did.
As for my setup.

I thought about going with the 305 in the back, but those have been consistently on backorder with availability dates as far out as December, which by then I'm back on my stock setup with all-season tires for winter. There appears to be plenty of clearance, though...
