Have fun man I just went to the track this weekend. Only planned to test and tune. But once I got there they kinda threw me in some forced induction sport class. Best part was I had never raced on a pro tree before and before it was all said and done. I ended up in the finals racing a 9 second race car and took second in the class and won $200 bucks lol. Have fun

It was fun. I actually met another mbworld member e63 owner there he got put in the same class also. He was running a littl faster then me as he was tuned and DP. We faced off In the semifinals I took it due to a few problems on his part building boost. But my favorite part was destroying a M5 f10 he raced me 2 times then left and went home for the day lol 😂

i like that last part of your comment. Don't be surprised.

your trap speeds are really strong for stock. Are you getting good traction? I'm sure you can hit 11.5 with those traps

Pretty good traction. I hit constant 1.85 60' times. I know for sure that in good air under 1000 ft da it has a chance at 11.5. We will never know though as it will be tuned and DP by the end of the month

nice! For sure it does with those traps I don't doubt it.

Which tune are are you going with? And catted or catless dp?

looking forward to see how much you improve. Im guessing traps will increase to 127-128 and low 11s

Rado cat less down pipes and it will be a custom tune. We have a guy local in phx that is capable of custom tuning on these cars.

Geno is being modest. His car is very strong for stock! DA was a hair under 4700ft and his car was within 2-3 tenths and 2mph of mine.

I'm getting sick of trying to launch these cars though. Mine went into limp mode twice as I was trying to build rpms/boost at the launch. MB programmers need a slap in the head!

i think his 4matic is a huge reason why he's having an easier time with that.

It is for sure a HUGE help. Mike did put down a couple 11.5 second passes at 125.xx but it was way easier for me to get a good reaction time. And them going from a pro tree to a 4/10 tree was super hard to get used to

You can always engineer over their engineering lol Car will still go into limp mode for other reasons like Lean, Knock, oil pressure etc. Just wont cut boost. Make sure you're running High octane fuel and I think Meth would also make a bit safer.

Not stock as mentioned. My best was 11.5 @ 126. Launching wasnt the problem, I'm getting used to feathering the pedal at the edge of traction. My 60ft times were within .05 to .1 of Geno's. The problem was when they put us on a pro tree and I couldn't actually pay attention to my rpms while brake boosting. If rpms got over 2k and steadied out the ecu would cut all power. So you can either worry about the launch or worry about the tree...you can't do both! It's bullsh*t!

interresting, I just got the same tune but without DP, just afe dry filters with it and I made 603whp/730wtq.

11.5@125 is not much improvement from stock I'm surprised he didn't get better!

yea that tune were running is really strong and if not for that should be capable of far better numbers.

Does brake boost really give give the best possible times?

i found putting the car on "hold" and then easing into gas seems to launch pretty well but never tested on the track yet.

I'm not positive it's just a boost problem. When the ecu cuts power it cuts everything. It's like it gets confused by simultaneous throttle and brake input.

It was the DA being 4700ft. At 2000ft I was 11.41@127.

Agreed the DA was not the best. I'm positive mikes car can run a 11.2 at 129 at ATCO. And I guess it's not fair to say I'm stock either. I do have the filter spacers and an x pipe in place of the resonator. That could be helping. But not much
