Certainly nice of you to comment on the thread, but with a 124K sticker and less than 8K miles, this car is very close to like it was when came off the showroom floor (at over 35K less). It has factory perfect wheels still in the box, and 2.5K worth of 3M clearbra over almost the entire painted surface and carbon fiber of the car. I do not believe there is another 2015 out there for sale that exists with all of these options, so I do not believe it is "10-15 K over market" for a vehicle on the high end of the spectrum.

Woof, I was thinking it could pull 80-82k but then I checked KBB in excellent condition with all the options and it spit out 72k private sale value. I guess I'll just keep my 2014 S for a good while at these low valuations.

Yeah, I saw that too, but you cannot add the carbon fiber packages on KBB or the laminated glass, etc. so I'm not sure that's the best gauge to use. I realize most of these cars are selling for less, but they are not fully optioned out so that's why I priced it higher. The depreciation is ridiculous though. I think I will have a very limited pool of buyers, but if someone wants a fully loaded one, there are not that many of those for sale right now...

In June of last year. Almost a full year ago I bought a 2014 E 63s 14k miles WITH CCB fully loaded in immaculate condition for $76,987 from a dealer known for markups so I "regretfully" agree with others that it's priced a bit high and the market is what it is you can't change the market. I almost did not buy this car and almost booked a plane to Texas to get the same car for less but in the end I decided flying out was not worth the 5k I would of saved. Not that it matters it's just my 2 cents and the car is worth what you get for it in the end. Best of luck on the sale and hope you find the right buyer. Just be prepared to get offers in the 75 k range.

I would say that is right in line with what I was seeing for wagons with the same build sheet....but I have also heard that wagon seem to be 9-13k more than the same sedan.....not sure if that is true but your pricing is nearly identical to wagon pricing from September of this year.

OP has a nicely built car but unfortunately this does not add up value at resale. Plus AMG are known for depreciating fast. So yes the asking is high. But OP has the right to ask what he wants for his car. Who knows there is a buyer out there. GLWS

I completely get what you are saying. To the right buyer, your beautiful car is worth every penny of that price. However, time is not on your side waiting for that buyer. With the W213 E63 coming to market in next few months, the market will likely see more W212 E63 S coming to market and the prices will drop. You might save yourself some time and frustration with a slight price drop.

I can't believe the depreciation on high end sedans vs 2 doors.

OP what's next?

Someone on this board just bought a brand new 2016 for 88k or so... didnt have cf or laminated glass but most people aren't looking for that. The used amg shopper is rather flexible compared to the new amg shopper.

I agree he can ask what he wants, and the risk of posting on the interweb forums is you'll get feedback. Plus a higher price means more negotiating room. The risk of buying a new highly optioned car like the e63 is that no one values those options at resale. Plus I doubt the vast majority of 2015 e63S buyers paid MSRP or within 10% of msrp. The Op didnt pay msrp.

Hey all,

Thanks for the feedback. After sleeping on it, and swallowing the jagged depreciation pill, I have decided to list it at 79,900. If I can't sell it for that, then I will just keep it. Of course I didn't pay MSRP (I hope no one did), but if someone is looking for a loaded car with low miles, I don't think there is a better one out there.

Next vehicle is a 32' Newmar motor home
