I always wondered if taking off in comfort mode has less torque limits than s/s+ since it starts in 2nd gear and if maybe this results in faster 0-60

The benz like the BMW has a switch at the end of the accelerator travel ... this drops the car to the lowest gear when wot... Curious how this plays a role in comfort mode

Unlike the W211, comfort mode stays in 2nd gear under wot, doesn't downshift even past the click from what I remember.
But as a nice contributing member I will go try this out today if my oil heats up fast enough via v12 biturbo preheater before getting to work (I'm usually in traffic areas by the time my oil is hot in the morning)

I think at WOT up to 40km/h comfort mode will downshift to first gear. I think that's what I saw

its still pretty darn fast...u can also take esp off to get most torque but u will wheelspin...u could also hold left paddle down and let it shift at redline....thheres a lot of permutations...let us know whats best
