that W3 174+ result was at shiftsector and was a roll event, not a standing 1/2 mile.. the car was already in 3rd gear at the roll start cones lol so definitely false advertising of 174mph 1/2 mile car.... whats next, they gonna say they trap 145 in the 1/4 without telling its a rolling start 1/4 lol?... in a true standing 1/2 it would of been much less than 174 (more like mid 150s)...... it also got beat by renntech tuned only car
check out how fast it is already going when it hits the starting flag at 46 seconds, so not a real standing 1/2 mile result

here is the same W3 car losing to renntech tuned car

however, that a moot point considering the original video where the 174mph W3 claim is still a roll event where they are already at like 30-40mph when they start

But they tried to claim it was a true half mile trap. People believe their BS that's why they buy their stuff. W3 will never ever under any circumstances be able finish a standing half mile at 175 miles per hour. Their W-4 did 165 at shift sector. I wonder if that was from a roll or not.
"From cone to cone at this years Shift Sector event was .4 miles. This was done mainly because a couple cars went off the big end of the track resulting in serious damage. Luckily the drivers walked out unharmed.
From starting point of the airstrip to end cone was exactly .5 miles. No hype here. Everyone was starting at the end, even the world record setting Lambos that went 229 and 230 mph. I guess we should discount those runs as well...

i saw that stock w213 e63s was doing good at moscow unlim500.... was even out launching tuned RS7 and destroyed stage 2 W212 CLS63 on launch as well as stage 2 M6.... looks promising! and 153 mph in the 1/2 is strong for stock car

V8 Biturbo TCU tuning from Renntech
These cars will never have the 60' or 330' foot to run a 9 with MCT lockup logic and torque limits. Until that is cracked with a combination of HW and SW, don;t hold you breath. Also I would expect more than 860whp on a built bottom end and w4. Pure stage 2, with meth is already close to that.
EDIT: that 863whp was on 91 pump....ok..I'm impressed! Race gas, or meth with more timing we should see close to another 100whp

Renntech is now claiming to be able to increase/remove the TCU torque limiters on all biturbo V8 models. Igor at the Florida location said when they reprogrammed the TCU on a tuned stock turbo S63 coupe, 0-60 went from 3.5sec to 2.9sec no other changes. They charge $3500 for this service according to him.

The MCT is inherently weak and sloppy. It serves the purpose on stock motor. Even tune and DP will overwhelm it
Removing the torque limitation is not going to solve the problems with the launch. Clutches slip even on some of the upgraded transmissions.

I never heard of MCT giving any reliability issues with tune and DP on stock motor. Where have we seen that?
