Motor mount upgrades?

Turned out my mounts bit the dust, cars at the dealer getting all mounts changed under warranty but I was wondering if anyone has upgraded mounts and if so are they worth it.

I'm shocked myself, but these are tq monsters so it's to be expected. Was thinking about strapping some steal cable straps to keep the travel to a minimal, wrapping around the sunframe to the motor mount brackets. Old school way of keeping the motor stable

44k. I purchased it with 39.5k so far my friend at the dealer was able to get the following parts warranted for me. Not that all these parts were in bad shape. But whatever showed signs of wear that way when I'm out of warranty I'd have a good start on things, plus the known issues before they became issues

1.tranny seal
2. Front left control arm
3. Front right control arm
4. Pano roof pop
5. Sway bar links
5. Front right passenger seat cover
6. Rear diff seal
7. Left side Valve cover gaskets
8. Currently all engine mounts plus tranny mount
9. Not sure if this counts as anything but all software updates as far as tranny/navi etc

was your car stock or tuned??? was curious if the mounts wore prematurely due to being tuned and all the massive torque from the tune above the already high torque level

The car wasn't tuned that long ago where I would suspect it being solo the reason. I'm sure it finished them off. I think they were already on their way prior to the tune

They service all of my vans. My cars go to HelmsBros as they are my clients and I’m really close with everyone at the service department. The service manager and shop foreman are really good and care. Who did you use for your tune?

The mounts are always failed by 50k. Most people just don't notice as they gradually get worse and worse. If you swap yours out after 5 years, you will be amazed how smooth the car feels after the change, even if you didn't think they were bad.

Use that warranty, OEM mounts are expensive but they are nice.

Tighten all roof hardware with lock tight. Apparently they loosen up with time

I used eurocharged. I caught them while they were having a sale. So far I've gotten a friend of mine that sale as well by recommending him. 1,400. Check my other post I show my stage one dyno numbers. I'm super pleased with the results. I haven't dynoed my stage 2 but I will soon. For the money those other companies charge I just can't see any real justification to use their tune over EC. I deff recommend it
