hey guys new to this forum

my car is a 2012 W212 E63

just wondering if this wheel setup will cause any problems:

19x9 et 25
19x10 et 25

looking to run these on stock tire size, at 255/35 and 285/30
at the moment the car is not lowered.

I've seen people on the forum run a 10.5 et 29 in the rear and claim to have no problems, I hope this setup wont either.

Cheers!

According to this guy (post 32) THAT is flush. Based on all the reading I have done on this forum regarding wheel fitment, you MIGHT get away with it with the set up you are proposing up FRONT (But I think you'll rub with a 255) The REAR, I have no idea how people NOT rub with a +29 (Stock is +52!) I suppose if you stretch the hell out of a tire and really roll out those fenders?...

Up front will be fine. I do not see how you can fit the rear though...I have 19x10 with ET45 on 285/30/19 and I feel like I am at the bleeding edge of rubbing (never rubbed).

Front will be close but you should be ok. Rear will be your issue. You have to factor in tire sizes/ride height/camber in the 10.5 +29 when comparing it to what you are wanting to run

thanks for all the feedback! since the previous setup was near impossible for the rear, i've decided to go with a 20 inch setup, with the following specs:

20 x 9 et 30
20 x 10 et 35

feedback on this setup is highly appreciated! from what i've been reading around, this setup should work fine. now I'm thinking about what tire setup to run. so feedback on tire setup is also welcome!

You are right this will work, but once again you are pushing it in the rear. You may need to camber your tires more (tire wear) and go smaller tires. The question is why????

EDIT, on second thoughts the rear will still not work IMO

just had the wheels installed along with the tires; fitment is SPOT ON. the rears are fairly aggressive. With 2 passengers in the car, no rubbing whatsoever. Have yet to try it with 4 passengers. Went with a 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 tire setup. I'm super happy with how the look turned out. car is not lowered, but i believe it should be good running on lowering springs. something to consider further down the road.

Looks good! I guess wheel offset is highly dependent on what size tire you want to/willing to run to make it all work.
What did you do as far as TPMS sensors for this new set of wheels? (Wondering since I will soon get a new set I will use for summer)

you can tell the tire shop to do a tpms transfer; they usually partially dismount your original tires to take out the tpms and install it onto the new wheel. the more convenient option is to purchase a new set and put them on the new wheels, but the new set needs to be programmed to work with the car.

I can't have my current TPMS transferred to my new wheels. I will be using the stock wheels for winter. The whole programming thing is what has me looking for more info. I have read threads where one member will say just this and then another member says there is no need to program and another will say the car needs to be in "learn" mode... I think I am just gonna go with the ones I found on Amazon... among the reviews, a person with a w212 E63 says it was plug and play. Thanks for your reply.

Awesome! Happy to hear it went smoothly. What brand/model TPMS did you go with?
