Why hasn't this wagon sold?

It seems like it's been for sale for quite some time now.

That may be a bit harsh...
Personalty I like the blue color a lot.
Having looked for a year or so before i bought mine about 3 months ago, a few thoughts:
1. White interior in the northeast is a challenge. it's not hot enough to justify the practical aspect (as it would be for a FL, TX, or AZ car).
2. White is terribly impractical for anyone with kids younger than 15...
3. The 5 star forged wheels are likely less desirable than the 10 spoke versions (minor).
4. At 33k miles, 16 model year and a wholeseller means it's not MB certified. At $80k, it should be. actually makes you wonder why it's at a wholeseller in the first place. Definitely do a PPI...

Standard beige interior not white. That color sells a lot in non AMG Mercedes. But it does look ugly in the AMG.
With the huge drop in value for the w212 after the w213 came out, 80k for a wagon with 34k miles is asking a lot especially with the odd color combo and 5 star wheels

If it is the same wagon I think it is then it is probably because of the ding on the CarFax stating it has a salvage title / branded title along with the colorway and the asking price. That dealer owns that car for too much and it has been listed for sale for almost two years.

Agree on ugly. Light beige, silver, white, same idea. hard as hell to keep looking nice, esp on bolsters and on vented seats (more small cracks)
Not so sure on the latter part. Not a HUGE drop, just the normal depreciation due to new model. This was a $110kish new car, to depreciate by about $30-40k is not that bad compared to many other premium German performance brands (M, RS, AMG). More or less in line.

Just ~6 months ago 2016s were going for 80 to 90k. Today they are going for ~60/65k

$60/65k if it is a sedan not a wagon. Wagon pricing is holding much better but the one in the listing above is way over priced because of its options, history and colorway.
Accident and dealer buy-back. Hit with a lemon tag for the title.

You do realize that I am saying they are asking too much for it. Chances of selling goes up if they asked 60 to 70k, and that is not unreasonable due to color and mileage. But that means it lost 40 to 45% of its value in a year and half. That's pretty huge.

And year and half? It's July 2018, most 2016 cars were sold in fall 2015 or early 2016, that's 2.5-3 years. 30-40% for high end, out of warranty German performance cars is pretty normal.
But let's be friends, we both agree that they are way overpricing this particular car. Accident AND lemon? Ugh, I wouldn't touch that car.

$60-65k? No way. Not for wagons, sedan maybe since I have less info there (I was only looking for a wagon).

Not someone. The dealership. They're buried in that thing so may as well use it since they're going to take a huge loss on it either way.
