MCT trans oil and filter service.. who has DIY.
Wondering how many guys DIY this service and how many bring it into benz...
It seems alot of owners overlook this service which is called for every 4 years or 40K miles...
Fresh fluid helps keep the valves in the trans clean and working good, as ive done this service on my past cars often.

Had a bad valve body and the dealer replaced solenoids under warranty at 29K miles. Didn't change the filter.
I just had a major service done that changed the transmission fluid, filter and pan (due to some rusting) at 37K miles.
They say the next service is at 100K miles, but I will continue to do it every 37K miles regards. Another $400 to $500 is not gonna burn a hole in anyone's pockets.

Sheik - you said you had rusting on your trans pan on a 2016 so was curious if you're in a coastal (salt) area or cold (salted roads) area???? your miles are considered normal, low, so not from excessive operating time. i just extended my CPO warranty 2 more years and will check the trans pan now that you mention it.... thank you
I've always taken my cars (family cars) to one fellow MB and BMW specialist that is local. I trust him and when he told me there was rust, didn't hesitate and told him to change it.
If the car needs warranty work, then I take it to the deal.
Had a CV Boot leak on both sides at the front that got that replaced as well.
Extended warranty for another 60K miles and 4 years
Headache free, almost. And better resale value for the next buyer.
You are welcome!
