New Guy going to buy an E63S

I'm in the market too! But I want FastWgn's car, haha. I am specifically looking for a 2016 and specifically a wagon.
in my research i found that 2016MY has a much better COMMAND unit, with possibility of enabling Apple CarPlay, which is a huge bonus for me.
Also, 2016 appear to be free of the MCT jerkiness issue. I drove a few of these now and the 2016's do we feel smoother.
Good luck to us both!
PS - anyone want to trade me their E63 wagon for my 2015 Range Rover Sport Supercharged + cash?

But that doesn't make sense. The numbers on the bottom should match the graph lines on the top, that's why they're color-coordinated. I suppose you're right it could be a custom graph, but usually the lines and the numbers match up. Peter could tell us, it's his car. Renntech does say that my car put out 602 horsepower at the flywheel, as opposed to the 577 Mercedes claims. They say that all of the E63s are underreported 4 horsepower and torque.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
green is stock ... hp curve and tq curve
blue and red are two runs after dyno tune only, no other mods
they all seem to match to me
all are wheel power numbers not the crank. Dynos are all different we know this ... the 1/4 or 1/2 mile is the test ultimately and the trap speed or some other measurement like 60-130

Now I get it. So Dynojet simply "tuned" your 2014 E63S to get those higher numbers. So at 602 WHP, your engine should be making around 750, right? Less 20%? But stock at 546 hp is only 10% below Renntech's claim of 602 engine hp, so maybe more like 669 at the crank, post-dynojet. But VERY impressive. Finally got back from my road trip (truck n trailer), took the Benz out tonight. Love it!

The 2014 e63 also had a somewhat less restrictive exhaust system .. sdg1975 (?) mentioned this
historically mustang dynos read 12-15% lower than dynojets... with many believing that mustang dynos are more accurate
once again, true track numbers are the best evidence

I haven't owned a supercar since I sold my 1996 911 TT in 2005 to purchase real estate in Cali (wrong!). I am always the 2nd or 3rd owner of my cars, bought one small car brand new just because. That said, I researched the sh*t out of these cars, and I love my 2014 E63S. Its loaded, comfortable on long trips, entertaining and super-fast. I saw that all the newer W212 E63s are 577hp. I defer to the expert owners here, but I prefer a big engine over a high-performance 4.0L, I'm just skeptical. If I hadn't wanted the extra hp & torque, I would've bought an actual 2012 6.3L. Waiting to tune it for 91 gas here in Cali, but I LOVE this car. It's perfect. Get the latest in the series, or a low mileage 2015, you're going to love it!!
Nice car, just picked up the same one in black. This one has the Carbon Ceramic Brakes.. really fun car to drive..
Wish I could take it outside LA more often for smoother/less congested roads

Sweet! I bet... I hammered mine around some back roads last night. Must remember that folks don't always look twice when pulling out! A guy broke his Audi in two and died a couple days ago. Have fun, be careful, dont get caught :-)
