Hello all,
I've searched and have found many different setups for wheels and wanted a more updated thread. So many variables such as, if it's lowered, if the fenders are rolled, tire sizes etc..
I'm looking for a slightly more aggressive setup than stock. Slightly wider wheels and tires. Prefer to stay with 19" but open to 20" if it works without minimal drawbacks.
With the S being AWD, I know the sizing has to be specific to overall diameter.
Is there a maximum wheel width, tire size and offset that you know of? Let's see your current setups and sizes.
Three variants I've done with no issues, all lowered.
Wheel fit and tire spec are subjective. I prefer little to no tire stretch so what I've run have been more meatier tire sizes with wheels specs.
Variant 1
F: 19x8.5" ET33 with 255/35R19
R: 19x9.5" ET38 with 285/30R19
Variant 2
F: 20x9" ET33 with 265/30R20
R: 20x10" ET45 with 295/25R20
Variant 3 (have camber plates up front that make this rub free)
F & R : 19x9.5" ET35 with 265/35R19
I'd say Variant 2 if you are fine with 20" but if you are looking to stick with 19", I'd do 19x9" ET33 (or 9.5" ET 32) with 265/35R19 and 19x10" ET45 with 295/30R19.
If you showed some pics of the look you like (can be on other cars) then I think people can help provide specs that would provide said look.

Amazing... Thanks for the response.
Is variant 1 stock?
I'm looking at variant 2 to be ideal for me.. As long as the wheels are wider than stock and they sit rather flush.. And of course no rubbing when lowered.

Wheels I'm considering are BBS CHR
Variant 1 was not stock. They were BBS LM-R with a 5 mm spacers up front but did use stock tires.
There aren't any great fits for CH-R in 19" with your criteria though can be made to work with spacers and would be very aggressive with 20" options.
The CI-R I ran can be run without spacers or with. Picture above was with 5 mm up front lowered. One below is of same wheel and tire specs with no spacers and at stock suspension.
I have some familiarity with BBS
I dunno if you came across this https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...formation.html. If that thread doesn't provide enough info, you should really listen to Jimminez. Dude is a PHD in wheel tire fitment on this platform

Yes, I did see that thread. It's certainly informative but I was looking for any new setups since the last post there was over a year old.
Looking back, I should have just bumped that thread.

Yesterday I went to order that above combo PS4 for my stock wheels and there is no 265 in stock anywhere around here! So I am doing this on stock rims which also works great:
The only problem is I will have to cut off my mullet not fitting the 305/265 combo
295/30 Rear and 255/35 Front https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...-fitmment.html
Oh and the "other" 10 spoke stock wheels are the same dimensions FWIW
Front Wheels: 19x9 ET37 part number A2124015002
Rear Wheels: 19x9.5 ET52 part number A2124015102
I just put these up for sale locally in St. Charles, IL. I moved up to 20's on my 2014 E63S. Brushed Bronze Rohana RFX11 front - 19x8.5 +25 offset / rear - 19.5 +45 offset. Michelin Pilot Sports 255/35/19 & 285/30/19 + TPMS for W212/ 2014 Mercedes E-Class. Wheels are mint, but one has a couple marks (see pics). Tires have 80-90% remaining, no patches or uneven wear. $2300.
I’m impressed. Not sure how you did though. I couldn’t get 315s to clear, even with perfect offsets - thought about rolling the fenders to gain 5mm on my wagon but chickened out. Went back to 305s.
[do you still have these ?

Hi all, I just purchased a 2016 E63s wagon and the previous owner installed a set of all-around 20" Mandrus Wheels, Although they are nice and in great shape but not the right set up. I am new to wheels, any recommendation for good set for sale?
Saw one member selling a set of HRE's 540 R 3 pcs, 20 x 9 front and 20X10.5 for rear. Will it fit the W212 wagon? Mus Mandrus

You are gonna need more info. on said set of wheels. Offset is very important. Now, if they are coming off of another w212, chances are, they will fit. But I would definitely want to know what the offsets and tire sizes are (if this set is coming with tires).
