When I buy my new car...
So when I buy my 2016 CPO E63s I am going to ask the dealer for the following as part of the deal:
1) Activate Apple Car Play. I have have no idea why they all aren't already activated. I assume they can do this with no problem?
2) Add on the lighter front star. Was this a factory option? Was it after-market? I DK much about it but thought think they look kind of cool.
Any thoughts?
As an aside, there was is a 2015 FS at a local Audi dealer...I sat in it and fired it up. Oh man....that sound!

Was the Mercedes illuminated star an option on E63s? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with it. One thing about the star is that if you get it as a factory option, you can’t have the Distronic package due to the fact that the Distronic sensor needs to be in the same location as the star.
Personally I don’t care for the star the way Mercedes made it. When the headlights are on (as they always are at night), the star’s glow looks so weak and dull. If it was brighter with a cleaner outline I think it would look a lot better.

See if you can get credit for conventional tires in place of your rfs if they're on there. Also, maybe (if they do it) a discounted ceramic coating to protect your car.

Yes, probably because Mercedes recommends it. It's not a deal breaker, and even though I hate rf's, mine are pretty good on my 2019 CAB. However, once they wear down, I'll definitely change out to some Serenity plus tires.
Can't hurt to ask since you have a little more leverage on a used car.
